A very nice family awaits, who are very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, the aircon worked perfectly. The bathroom is very clean, with a nice shower - good pressure and hot water. It is quiet at night. The train station and beach is very close. There are lots of restaurants nearby. I like to eat local food so walked into Aluthgama each night. Cargills supermaket is a 5 minute walk. A good breakfast, including a good amount and variety of fresh fruit is provided in a restaurant less than a minute walk away. This is a fantastic homestay. Thanks!

La situation , au milieu des petites rues de Bentota ; tout proche de la gare (pas gênés par le train ) et proche de la plage très agréable.

Cette famille adorable nous a réservé un Accueil exceptionnel. Chambre spacieuse, super propre, salle de bain impeccable. Deux terrasses à disposition avec une cuisine commune. Très bon wifi. La pension est à proximité de toutes le commodités. Petit déjeuner extraordinaire (œufs, plateau de fruits exotiques, toasts.....) dans le restaurant du fils des propriétaires en bas de la rue. Plage à quelques minutes à pied.
Les propriétaires sont très présents et aux petits soins avec leurs hôtes ce qui fait que nous recommandons chaleureusement cet établissement et nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Abbastanza fatiscente, ci ha messo a dura prova. Per fortuna solo una notte vi abbiamo pernottato. Il letto era scomodo perché molto vecchio e le molle si sentivano sulla schiena. Unico pregio l’aria condizionata funzionante e loro che erano molto disponibili
A very good stay, few meters from the railway station and beach. Hosts, uncle and aunty were very good and met our issues with utmost care. They arranged for English breakfast in a nearby restaurant for us which was complimentary.
We were offered a different place to stay which was fantastic a whole villa for the same price of the original booking. It was fantastic and would want to book it if I returned to Bentota again.
The shower didn’t have much water pressure and quite cold water.
We loved everything! Localisation is perfect! Walking distance from the railway station and to the beach, and to the main road - restaurants, shops, fruit markets!
The property has everything you need and to be honest - it was our fav place in Sri Lanka. hosts are fabulous! Very kind, friendly and welcoming 🤗 It was difficult to say good bye!

They run a great restaurant literally 2 minutes walk from their stay! Breakfasts were so delicious and perfect coffee!

Breakfast was perfect
The location was great near the beach and the railway station. The family was nice, especially the granny who was super nice and caring. I wished the room was cleaner and the bathroom as well because dirty water was leaking from the toilet when flushing. I also wished that the bed was more comfortable because it was a bit hard.
The place is within walkable distance from beach, city.
Breakfast was super and served with a smile always. Fruit selection was great.
The room was on the first floor so no view from the window. Room was also very small.

The family was helpful and friendly and provided a lovely breakfast in the mornings. Good location, 5 minutes walk from the beach and near to restaurants.
The door to our room was warped, so was difficult to open and close. The bed had a few broken springs and was uncomfortable.
