Supermooie locatie. Hartelijke fijne familie

Mooie schone kamer, ruime badkamer, lekkere bedden en hele aardige familie!

Met een Tuk Tuk werd je heen en weer gereden naar het centrum en ook kan je er lekker eten. Helaas hadden wij geen tijd om de kookworkshop te volgen, we weten zeker dat die ook geweldig is.

Nous avons tout aimé ! La gentillesse de Nilu et son mari, l’emplacement à 5 mins de Tuktuk du centre ville, la vue magnifique sur la vallée, le petit déjeuner fait maison (pancakes farcis à la noix de coco et miel à tomber par terre), le cooking class avec Nilu très apprécié par mes enfants et moi-même. Nous sommes restés 3 nuits dans la chambre familiale qui était parfait. Il y a pleines de choses à visiter dans les environnements. Vraiment je recommande vivement!

Vanuit je ontbijt kijk je je de jungle onder het genot van een fresh juice, je zaten apen door de bomen slingeren en je hoort de waterval, waar je ook een frisse duik kan nemen. Centrum is makkelijk bereikbaar met de tuk-tuk
Locatie is prachtig, eigenaren erg behulpzaam en lief, heerlijk gegeten, goede cooking class.

The hosts went out of their way to look after us. They organised all our transportation at a good price & made the logistics of getting around so easy. Our family did the cooking class, which was a highlight of our trip and very affordable. The location was a tuk tuk away from the city and very quiet and peaceful - highly recommend.

We loved our stay in the nature woodland. The property is in such a peaceful location you can hear the waterfall and the birds chirping in the morning and evening. Chami and his wife are some of the nicest people we have met and couldn’t be more hospitable. Any questions we had about the area they were able to help, they also helped organise a scooter for the few days and our transport to the next locations in Sri Lanka. One of our favourite stays so far would definitely recommend

The place was in a great location, just outside of the main part of Ella which meant it was very peaceful. The hosts helped us organise tuk tuks very easily and at great prices everyday, so it was no issue.
The breakfast was delicious and we ate dinner one night which was equally wonderful. The hosts were fantastic and so friendly, we did a cooking class with them and we couldn’t recommend it more - 6 different curries with rice and roti, which were all great!
Would highly recommend!

THE BIG ISSUE:THE PICTURES ON THE WEB MISREPRESENT THE HOTEL PRÉMISSES, NARROW WITH STAIRS, SMALL DARK, ORDINARY ROOM, MORE FOR BACKPACKERS.
HIS WIFE WAS AGGRESSIVE BECAUSE SHE KNEW THE ABOVE AND REFUSE TO LOOK AT THE WEBSITE PICTURES WITH US.
PROVIDE ME SPECIFICS RESPONSE TO THESE OBSERVATIONS.

We had a very pleasant stay with Chami and his family. The room offered excellent value for money and was ideally located just outside of Ella, yet still very close. Accommodating and friendly, we highly recommend staying here.

Das Zimmer mit Badezimmer war sauber und gemütlich.
Es ist eine schöne, familiäre Atmosphäre.
Das Essen ist so unglaublich lecker und der Gast wird gut umsorgt, egal ob es ein Tuk Tuk braucht, ein Tip für die Umgebung, Wäscheservice oder einfach nur ein schönes Gespräch.

If you want to experience Sri Lankan hospitality at its finest, this is the place to stay. Once you put your foot on the doorstep, you feel like being part of this wonderful family. Chamee and Nilu are fantastic hosts, always smiling with a warm and happy character. They have great advice for all sights to visit in and around Ella and can arrange transport. Nilu offers great cooking classes. We cooked an amazing range of curries, learnt about Sri Lankan cooking techniques and spicing. And the reason why the curries turned out to be the best we ate so far in Sri Lanka is not because we are incredible chefs but because of Nilu‘s delicious recipes that she shared with us. And also the included breakfast was always delicious. The place itself is just a few minutes away from Ella by tuktuk (perfect location to explore the area), surrounded by forest, with nice views on the hills, having monkeys as the occasional visitor (but no worries, the family‘s dog pays attention that they won‘t come too close) and many birds. The rooms are very clean with direct views into the surrounding green. We stayed here 3 nights with our daughter and all of us could have easily stayed longer. Can highly recommend this place!

We had the most beautiful stay. We were treated like family the entire time. Set in the mountains with an amazing view, big, clean comfy rooms, hot water, great breakfasts and the best cooking class!
Not to mention tubby (resident pup) and Micky (cat) who love all the hugs and pats you can provide.

Die Unterkunft hat einen tollen Ausblick und man fühlt sich dort direkt willkommen! Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Ich selber habe den Kochkurs leider nicht gemacht, doch habe mit zu Abend gegessen und es hat hervorragend geschmeckt!

Einfach alles. Die Besitzer Nilu und Chami sind einfach so herzliche Personen. Wir haben mit der Familie gekocht, gespielt, gesungen. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur jedem von Herzen weiterempfehlen.
