A unique experience, with very hospitable and helpful hosts. The food was amazing! It’s simply their home, not a typical hotel, which is a big plus as it allows you to better experience the place and the hospitality of the local community. We arrived by car, and parking was no problem. Close to Souss-Massa Park. We only struggled at night with flies, which are quite common in Morocco and tend to buzz around your ear at night, but that’s just how it is everywhere.
We had a lovely 1 night stay in Takad with the family, they were all so so welcoming and friendly.
It is simple, rustic, authentic Morocco lifestyle.
But great adventure and delicious food. Hopefully we will be back to visit the family one day :)
The family is very kind and helpful and the food they prepared us was incredible, both the dinner and the breakfast. A true Moroccan experience at a family house
Breakfast and dinner was excellent. The family was very welcoming, kind and warm. It felt like staying with family.
Such a wonderful welcoming family. They treated us like part of the family and we ate together in the evenings and talked using Google translate to Arabic and a bit of English and French. We found it so interesting to be in a small village and see daily life in Morocco. All the people we met were so welcoming and friendly. It is a beautiful culture and we would love to come back. The landscape was also beautiful and fascinating. For us the weather was perfect and sunny although the locals were dressed up very warmly in March. The family made us lovely food and were helpful with our diets, (I am gluten free and my partner is vegetarian).
There wasn't really anything we didn't like.
It was basic, but the family were very friendly and kind.
The shower was cold
Hosts were very kind
Breakfast very good
It was comfortable & clean.
Breakfast was lovely.
Really friendly family run guest house. We arrived around 11 pm, very tired. They made us some refreshing Moroccan tea and made us feel very welcome.
Sat on the roof terrace at night listening to the silence of the village and countryside and looking at the stars
Breakfast was delicious the next morning
Everything was good
Hospitality of the owner family, warm welcome, excellent local food
Breakfast was nice, the lady made homemade msemen, being moroccan I appreciated. Also flexibility on the booking, the lady of the house in our few interactions, was nice with us. The man too.
Almost no welcoming whatsoever. Hafida barely said hi, pointed us to our bedroom directly and put the paper on the table that they are supposed to fill so we filled it ourselves. On payment, she gave me the phone when there was a misunderstanding, in an annoyed manner with a hand gesture.
Comfort is minimal as I used a bucket with water to wash my hand, there is no pressure on the shower. There is one plug in the whole bedroom. This is a room in a family apartment, on the first floor the rating is overrated by people who never step foot in a moroccan house.
We received a Whatsapp from the accommodation the day before our arrival. According to the photo, it was the daughter.
I was traveling with my 15-year-old son.
After landing in Agadir, we bought a SIM card from Inwi right next to the baggage carousel. We then found Takad Dream with the rental car using Google Maps without any problems. Exactly as shown on Google Maps.
The man of the house welcomed us. It's practical that he has a very small store downstairs in the house. We bought water and potato chips there. Parking was easy and safe in front of the house.
Wifi was available but our cell phone had a faster connection.
There is a beach about 15 minutes drive from the house where you can probably surf on good days.
The breakfast was exactly as in the photos. We wrote on the Whatsapp number at what time we would like to eat and it was always ready on time.
We should mention the roof terrace where we watched the sunset. All in all, a great start to our surf trip to the south. Because you live with the family, you get right into the Moroccan rhythm.
The Euro Dirham exchange rate (accommodation is paid in Dirham) was a little in our host's favor, but fully within reason.
We also learned our first bits of Arabic from the man of the house.
If you are openminded and respectful, I recommend this accommodation 100%
alles gut
Very caring family. Our friend arrived in the middle of the night, which they helped to arrange a Taxi and take in. Very good breakfast.
Very friendly, lovely food
People was very nice, very helpful, very happy and it was a very good time with them
There was two location from the beach was like 7 km and it was not good
It was a very nice and pleasant stay! What you see in the photos is what you get : )
Nice and helpful family,
Clean and comfortable place
Delicious food
I recommend at least a night here to start to know the culture of Morocco.
As you are the only guest, you will need to say in advance the time that you will return for dinner, but that will only ensure that you will get your meal ready for you, which can be good.
Peaceful place, nice and helpful people. Tasty breakfast :)
Very kind, warm and welcoming family. Great breakfasts!
