Maria is a lovely and hospitable woman who made our stay unforgettable!
Pros:

The location is right in the heart of the old city of Albufeira, in the middle of a charming street full of restaurants and small shops. The room and the house are in a traditional Portuguese style, which makes the stay truly special! The beach is only a 5-minute walk away 😁

Cons:

Please note that the accommodation is on a side street just off the busy nightlife area. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Pros:

What an absolute gem. Lovely, homely guest house in a perfect location. Maria and her daughter couldn't be nicer and more helpful. Our room had a balcony that overlooked a street that was lively during the day but quiet for sleeping. We had access to a cozy, communal area and kitchen and were two minutes walk away from both the beach and the lively square that was full of bars and restaurants. I cannot recommend Maria's guest house highly enough. Just fantastic.

Pros:

La propriétaire est juste adorable !
La chambre est très confortable, avec des rangements, un petit balcon, un frigo, et la salle de bain est super avec une baignoire en plus (et une paroi pour éviter de mettre de l'eau partout). Les espaces communs sont douillets et bien décorés. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine.
La GH est très bien située, vraiment dans le centre, à 2 minutes de la plage et avec des commerces et des restaurants juste en bas !
J'ai adoré, je me suis sentie comme à la maison !

Cons:

Seul inconvénient c'est très bruyant, il faut le reconnaître, forcément vu la situation centrale. Mais moi ça ne m'a pas empêchée de dormir !

The room was small, but completely adequate. The common living area with the sunroom and a living room were very comfortable. There’s also a common kitchen that I only used to heat water for tea, but there was a stove microwave and a toaster. Maria and her daughter were there to help with any questions. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Bardzo klimatyczne miejsce. Czuliśmy się jak w portugalskim domu z duszą sprzed lat. Urocza gospodyni, lokalizacja w centrum miasteczka, ale w nocy cicho. Stylowy pokój z wygodnym, dużym łóżkiem, do dyspozycji kuchnia z wyposażeniem, idealnie czysto. W takie miejsca chce się wracać.

Perfect for a couples of day retreat
Pros:

Location was excellent, the property was clean and had good amenities. Beds were comfortable and the balcony was a lovely touch.

Cons:

The property is dated, our bathroom could do with an update as the shower screen was loose and big shower didn’t work, we also did not have an extractor fan.

Great host, location, and room. The guesthouse is an ideal place to stay in Albufeira.

Maria was a very gracious and involved host, and the two reception rooms were lovely to sit in during the day or evening. Overall a wonderful stay, and would highly recommend. The location is perfect for the beach and the old town.
