Beautiful view and a very sweet and helpful host
Pros:

Loved the outside terrace with a small kitchen. looking over Funchal

Cons:

It was a bit of a hike to walk back and forth to the center or waterfront

Pros:

The owners were extremely nice and helped with a lot of recommendations for Madeira on WhatsApp and also helped quickly with everything we asked for (like more toilet paper and things like that) and we got a room with great view to the city and to the sea.
The location was great: 8 minutes with Uber to the center of Funchal, 2 minutes car ride to the pharmacy and a huge supermarket. Overall very recommended:)

Cons:

We had a private bathroom but it was outside the room (right next door). We also didnt have excess to a kitchen (the owners told us in advance but we had a minifrige in the room and they offers any kitchenware that we needed).

If those two things are important to you I recommend to contact the owner to check which room is available before making the order (there is also a rooms with the bathroom inside the room).

I would recommend as a short or a longer stay, especially if you want to prepare your own meals and have a little privac
Pros:

We loved the view, and the fact that we got a full kitchen on the terrace to ourselves was outstanding. The parking is big and the location is found easily.

Cons:

The smell coming from the bathroom was horrible, and the beds were very very uncomfortable. On some nights we could also hear other people talking, so we assume that the door is also not very thick.
