The North Face Inn's Homestay

I liked everything about the property. The place and location was mesmerising. And the view from there was breath taking. The owner was really helpful. Overall it was clean and spacious as well.

Ganz toller Ort. Modernes Apartment mit schönem Licht und guter Ausstattung. Tolle Aussicht durch die Lage oben am Berg. Ruhig und durch die Blumen und Gartenpracht sehr idyllisch. Die Gastfamilie lebet nebenan und ist sehr freundlich, hilft bei jeglichen Fragen, hatte uns bei Ankunft auch am Bus abgeholt und bevor wir abgereist sind nach 1 Monat auch mal zu auch zum Essen eingeladen. Für unseren 2 jährigen Sohn war es toll, weil er im Garten hacken, die Kühe füttern und am Wasserhahn plantschen konnte. Wir haben uns sehr wohl geführt und gerne die Zeit dort verbracht. Vorallem für Reisende geeignet, die einfach auch mal ein Tag zuhause bleiben wollen zum entspannen und Aussicht genießen.

Wow!!Einfach nur Großartig! Alle Erwartungen wurden hier noch übertroffen. Bei unserer Suche für eine traumhafte Unterkunft für unsere Tage in Pokhara hat diese mir auf Anhieb von den Bildern schon direkt zugesagt. Die Bewertungen und Kommentare, gaben dann noch die ganze Überzeugung hier genau richtig zu sein. Bitte nur die positiven beachten, wir können etwas anderes nicht bestätigen.Was für toller Platz hier oberhalb dem See wenn es etwas ruhiger und einem entspannten Abstand von dem lauten und quirligem Ort für einen passt: Als wir angekommen sind sagte ich nach wenige Minuten zu meiner Partnerin, ich weis jetzt schon , das ich das hier vermissen werde. Raju und Sandra sind so herzliche und hilfsbereite Menschen die uns mit allem was wir für nötige hielten versorgten.Wir haben zudem mit Raju als Guide eine fantastische Tour zum MBC gemacht und dann noch eine für 4-5 Tage in den Bardia Park.Die Organisation von incl. allem war perfekt.Raju hatte bei der Planung des Treks damals gesagt, das schlimmstes passieren kann ist krank in den Bergen zu werden! Ich sage das beste was Du im Leben finden kannst sind Orte diese und Menchen wie Raju und Sahara.Wenn 10 Punkte nicht schon das Limit wären würde ich noch ein paar Sternchen dran hängen. 🍀☯️🙏

Waking up to that "bird's-eye view" of Phewa Lake and the Annapurna range was truly mantap—definitely the highlight of our Pokhara trip. Mr. Raju and his family are such warm hosts that staying there really feels like being part of the family; they truly care for your comfort. As a solo traveler, I felt very supported as Raju constantly gave expert advice on other places to visit and helped plan my itinerary. I also loved the food—the vegetables and tomatoes picked fresh from their farm were so sweet and crisp!
The rooms were sparkling clean with great hot showers, and the Wi-Fi was fast and stable. For logistics, you can walk down to the lakeside, but since the 2km road up is quite mencabar (challenging) for normal InDrive or taxis, Raju can arrange his own driver to pick you up for a reasonable fee. They also offer a laundry service for a small amount, which is super convenient. I highly recommend booking this for a smooth, "family-style" experience!

View is very good from the homestay

I loved this place. You have the best view on the lake, sunsrise is beautiful. Its peacefull, they grow there own veggie’s. Two lovely dogs. The owner knows a lot, he can help you with activities like hiking, paragliding (a must do). I also had a Nice dinner with the family. What can I say, one of the places to stay in Pokhara!

The view. The place is good for relaxing, getting away from hustling city. I would definitely reserved another stay if I plan to go to Pokhara for another solitude. Definitely a worthwhile choice. Meeting Raju (the owner) is another jackpot i got. he's another reason i will be revisiting. ><

Most wonderful experience!
Everything at the North Face Inn's Homestay was great!!! First of all, the facility itselfe is pretty new, well equiped, of high standard and very clean!! In their Studio you have everything you need to sustain yourself and have a good time with an amazing view. That would be the next point, the location itselfe, is amazing!! From everywhere you have a great view on the lake, it has beautiful plants and flowers everywhere and it is very quiet and calming too. One of the reasons for that is probably the conditions of the road, as it is a while of an offroad journey to get there, so it's not as easy to go up and down to the city... But for me it was perfect as I wanted to do a little selfe-retreat, stay by myselfe and meditate. For this it was the perfect place! The family is also very lovley, so kind, humble, diligently and always happy to help. They provided me good quality organic meals (and buttermilk 🤤) and supported me during my retreat as well!

Every morning begins with a breathtaking view of Phewa Lake, the mountains, and the city of Pokhara. ❤️

The hosts are an incredibly warm and welcoming couple who have created a cozy and authentic environment. They take care of a small farm filled with friendly animals, including a cow, a buffalo, goats, ducks, chickens, and, of course, the star of the place—Golu, the most lovable dog who will quickly become your new best friend! Their farm not only provides fresh organic vegetables but also fresh milk and honey, which they happily share with their guests.

Nature lovers will be delighted by the abundance of birds in the area—it's a perfect spot for birdwatching! The farm is also teeming with wildlife beyond their domesticated animals. You'll often spot lizards, butterflies, and other small creatures roaming around, adding to the feeling of being immersed in nature.

The apartment is exceptionally clean, well-equipped, and designed for total comfort. It features a bathroom, a spacious and cozy bed, a comfortable sofa, and a fully stocked kitchen where you can prepare meals using fresh ingredients straight from the farm. And the best part? You can admire the breathtaking panorama of the lake and mountains right from your bed!

The host is also a professional guide with extensive knowledge of Nepal. Whether you want to explore Pokhara or venture further into the country, he can help you plan the perfect trip. He can personally take you to your chosen destination or lend you his scooter for short journeys, making it easy to explore the area at your own pace.

Overall, this is more than just a place to stay—it's an experience.

The property owner were really wonderful. They have their own natural fruits, eggs, milk, yogurt from their own garden/ farm around the homestay.
The property has magnificent view of Phewa lake.
Highly recommend for a couple of days to unwind and relax into nature.

This is truely a wonderful place. I received a warm welcome by the whole family. They are very friendly, warm hearted and always willing to help and share their knowledge. Breakfast and diner are delicious. The house is great and the garden colourful with beautiful flowers and crops. Their calm animals and cute happy dog add charm to the place. A peaceful quiet place with amazing sunset and view over Fewa lake make this ideal for rest and relaxation.

The location nestled in the hill overlooking the lake was excellent and serene. It was so peaceful and the hosts are the most wonderful people you will ever meet. We had everything we needed and could have stayed there for weeks. It was a mini retreat and I would love to return. The owner, Raju also helped organize two big separate treks for us with the best guide and porter. He made everything so easy and seamless.
