Uma surpresa agradável
Pros:

A Paula e o João fazem questão de nos pôr à vontade, estando disponíveis para uma boa conversa ou partilhas. As camas são confortáveis e a cozinha tem todos os utensílios necessários para a preparação de uma refeição.

L'emplacement
La facilité pour se garer autour ( places de parking gratuites)
La bonne communication avec les hôtes AVANT notre arrivée ( par mail)

Matelas de la chambre du bas dur ( mal au dos le matin)
Quasi pas d'échange avec les hôtes ... Nous avions choisi exprès de loger chez l'habitant pour partager des moments avec eux ..mais malheureusement ça n'a pas eu lieu ...qq banalités et politesses ( bonjour, ..)
Ils se sont absentés 3 jours sans nous prévenir ( je sais bien qu'ils sont chez eux et n'ont pas de compte à nous rendre mais simplement nous prévenir, ça nous aurait suffit)
Le linge ne séchait pas , chambre et SDB humides
Et nous avons retrouvé des cafards morts dans la chambre et le salon attenant ( mais c'est courant sur l'île)

Bref j'ai plus eu l'impression de louer une chambre que de résider chez l'habitant

Bellissimo soggiorno
Pros:

La casa è molto accogliente e vissuta. Gli spazi comuni, anche se condivisi, erano estremamente godibili grazie alla gentilezza dei proprietari, entrambi molto cortesi e disponibili ad aiutarci e farci sentire benvenuti. La nostra stanza era grande e comoda, così come il bagno. Anche la posizione era perfetta per visitare l'isola con vari parcheggi comodi per la macchina.

Habitación en casa familiar
Pros:

Se trata de una habitación con baño en casa de una familia, sin vistas. Bien ubicada porque está casi al pie de la autovía por lo que no se pierde tiempo en salir y llegar. Cerca hay un supermercado y es fácil aparcar. La familia facilita el uso de su cocina y reserva un estante del frigorífico para los huéspedes. Hay que tener en cuenta que la intimidad es menor que en otro tipo de alojamiento.

El colchón es una piedra.

Pros:

Eravamo in quattro ed eravamo gli unici ospiti in questa bellissima casa storica, piena di cimeli e con un giardino di piante tropicali da sogno. La posizione è ottima per visitare l'isola, ma serve avere un'auto. Intorno ci sono comunque un supermercato e una spiaggia raggiunhgibili a piedi. La parte migliore sono sicuramente i padroni di casa, molto gentili e accoglienti, ci hanno permesso di tornare a casa a farci la doccia nel pomeriggio anche nel giorno del check out. Grazie!

Cons:

Ho un unico appunto: i cuscini erano scomodi, rigidi e irregolari. Suggerirei di cambiarli.
A parte quello tutto perfetto.

Wonderful stay with a wonderful host!
Pros:

We got a lovely welcome, it's definitely the best part of this homestay and really makes the difference. The decoration is really impressive, it's almost like staying in a museum. The garden is lovely. The location is residential so fairly quiet with parking a few meters away, there is a supermarket nearby and it's really close to restaurants, the sea and Ponta Delgada by car. Everything is clean, the kitchen has everything you need, you get fridge access, and the beds are extremely comfortable. I definitely recommend!

Cons:

From what I understand we didn't use the usual guest bathroom, but in the main bathroom it's a bit inconvenient that it's not possible to hang the shower head when trying to wash long hair, though it's not a big deal obviously. The following are not specific to this homestay, as they are common issues on the island, I'm just including them so you know what to expect: noise insulation is not great (again, the location is pretty quiet, as a light sleeper I found ear plugs perfectly sufficient to solve the problem), humidity on the island is very high so everything takes a long time to dry/feels a bit moist (the portable heater helped with that) and the houses wear down easily so there may be some leaks during heavy rains, due to the climate there might be the occasional dead beetle in the kitchen and there will be fruit flies if you leave food out.

Authentic experience of an azorean house
Pros:

In Casa Rural you can experience a true azores household. Basically you share the house with the owners who welcome you in a beautiful renovated room in colonial style. For us personally it was very authentic experience and João and Paula were extremely kind and helpful. We could use all the kitchen equipment, we got our space in the fridge, towels and everything. The house is located in Ponta Delgada suburbs so if you rent a car (which is highly recommended to be able to visit the best places of São Miguel) you can easily reach it (it’s 11 minutes by car from the airport). The highway entrance is very close and there is plany of parking spots nearby. Very good location, very good price and extremely nice hosts!

Great hosts amd stay
Pros:

Paula and João are really attentive and laid back hosts. You basically share the house they live in with them. They were very happy to explain us everything we wanted to know about the island and have us good tips on continuing our travel in Azores. We would definitely recommend staying here.
