Pros:

La posizione tranquilla, la possibilità di prepararsi una buona colazione (a disposizione pane, burro, formaggio, confetture e frutta fresca, oltre a tè, caffè a scelta).

Cons:

Il letto cigolava ad ogni movimento e il materasso non sosteneva granché.

Alex is a great host, really friendly and welcoming even we arrived really late
Pros:

Great location, very close to train and bus station, although can be hard to find in the evening as the building wasn’t well sign posted.

The place had good reviews, but I think possibly by men.
The photos suggest it is a beautiful tiled house, it is actually an apartment above a shop, opposite the house in the pictures.

The apartment is 3 flights up in a dark stairwell until the owner remembered to swith on the light.
.
The room was exceptionally basic, but clean.

Clearly an air bnb, the owner lives there, but you should be told this as you are in very close proximity.

The man was friendly enough but I felt extremely uncomfortable once I had realised the situation as a woman travelling alone, with a bad knee!! ( stairs)

I made excuses and left, thankfully I hadn't paid.

A truer picture of the accommodation should be given; it may suit some!
