Don't hesitate to stay here. It's exceptional!
Pros:

You absolutely cannot go wrong staying at Chef Xuan. This homestay is beautifully designed and decorated, inside and out, and feels like a luxury retreat, at extremely affordable rates. The location is perfect too, in the middle of the peaceful vegetable growing village, within easy reach of both the beach and the old town. But it's the family who run this place, who are so kind and hosptiable, that make it extra special. Without a doubt the best place I have stayed in Vietnam – it's a little piece of paradise.

Pros:

Fantastic homestay. Nice and quite away from the busy main areas. In-between old town and n bang beach. A few nice restaurants nearby and reasonable costs. Shop nearby. Overlooked rice fields and herb gardens. The room was spotless and quite spacious. Nice balcony with chairs and lounger. Had use of the kitchen and seating areas. Borrowed some push-bikes to have a ride around and explore.
The owners were so lovely and so helpful. Sitting with them to drink tea and had great talks.
Recommend this place to anyone staying in Hoi An.

Excellent homestay
Pros:

Homestay super bien situé entre la plage et la ville, des hôtes très accueillants dont le gérant qui parle français. J'ai également pu jouer aux échecs avec leur enfant de 12 ans qui est très fort, et le gérant xuan a été d'une grande aide pour organiser la suite de mon voyage au Vietnam. Sûrement la meilleure expérience que j'ai eue dans un homestay au Vietnam! Je recommande vivement.

A wonderful homestay in Tra Que
Pros:

One of the best places that I have ever stayed in during my 20 years traveling all around Vietnam. The location is great in quiet and peaceful Tra Que. My room was very comfortable and spacious with a large balcony on the 2nd floor. The family who own and run Chez Xuan are wonderful people and outstanding hosts...very friendly and made me feel very much at home during my 6 day stay. I definitely will plan to return and highly recommend that others stay here.
