The place would be great if it was managed properly and professionally so. There's no communication on how one can access the property on arrival. You have to hoot yet it's a quiet neighborhood, hooting can be very annoying. I had a very bad experience where 1st I was treated like a criminal because of mismanagement. After messed up bookings I was accused of having cancelled my booking and I had to explain after I had slept over on how I had paid as I was mistaken with the guest that cancelled. Then a mix of rooms happened and I was accused of hijacking the room yet I checked in the day before this came on my 2nd night when other guests arrived, instead of the facility owning up on their mistake the blame was shifted to me. I received a very nasty disrespectful message from the person I was communicating with *I'm not sure whether it was the owner as she was communicating via the phone*. The rooms are not labelled and or marked so that one will know on arrival to which room she booked, we are depending on one employee & she's very senior she gets confused because instructions are written to her in a scrap book. There was a whole lot of back up to & from phonecalls including the guests now. It was such a horrible experience on my side as the other guests had been inconvenienced and the centre of all that was like it's me and I had checked in the night before. There was ample time to correct any mistakes that had happened before the arrival of other guests but because the person running it failed to do her due diligence management. Had she done morning checkups and revised all guest check-ins and not wait for guests arrival a lot could have been saved. The to &from phone calls accompanied by accusations of so & so said what was disgusting and left a very bad taste of my stay 😭😭😭. No properly written instructions except for the rules.
With all the crime we are experiencing in the country, it's a security risk where all guests have to hoot in order to gain access to the facility. One of these days they will open for wrong people that would put their guests & employees at risk, you are supposed to be scanned before accessing the establishment that you're indeed the eligible guest that has booked. My experience erased all the goodness of the establishment.
NB: linen puts me off, I didn't understand why you would have a different Navy sheet with a white duvet. The bedding always matches. It might happen it was a mistake as well but I wasn't impressed with a navy sheet & white duvet.
No written or verbal guidance on where to get essentials like iron & utensils if you happen to bring food.
