A great stay
Pros:

We had a great two-day stay here. The building is beautiful and cozy. It is about 1.5 km from the center of the town and has a great view of the town. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean.

The best part about this place are the people. Rohit and his wife are warm, caring and nice people. The hospitality was amazing. They served tasty, home-cooked food (huge portions) and took care of us very well.

This is a great place for people looking for a quiet and calm stay. It is not for people looking to party (mentioning this specifically because of a previous negative review). Alcohol is not allowed in the premises and there is a 10.30 pm curfew.

Tout le charme des montagnes d'Ooty et des plantations de thé depuis un lieu de rêve !
Pros:

Vieille maison coloniale pleine de charme, surplombant Ooty, belle vue, calme et surtout accueil chaleureux, familial. Cuisine excellente, nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans ce cadre !

A lovely place to stay, though a little basic, with excellent hosts.
Pros:

Wyoming Heritage sits in a stunning location above St Stephens church with extended views accross the town to the hills beyond. Rohith and his wife are extremely helpful and go above and beyond, also the home cooked dinners and breakfast are very nice.
Its an easy walk down into town - railway station, botanical gardens and shops etc., but best to return back up the hill by tuk tuk.

Cons:

It was lovely to stay in a hundred year old colonial bungalow, though not necessarily live as we did in those times. Its a fine line between sympathetic updating and destroying the ambiance, however some updating of the accomodation particularly the bathrooms would be an improvement.

We had a great time and would certainly recommend Wyoming homestay.
Pros:

All the food was great. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Only one suggested area of improvement. The bed linen could have been a little whiter. It looked a little aged and worn.

Enjoy the clean air, and views across the whole city.
Pros:

Clean with superb views of city. Owners couldn’t do enough to help us. The place was a little tired but very comfortable. Garden was a lovely place to sit out in the clean mountain air. Thank you for all your help.

Cons:

I had underestimated the effect the altitude would have. (7500ft) I had pleurisy and pneumonia in the past which made things a little uncomfortable for me at night. The owners were very understanding and assure me I would be ok when we moved down to Coimbatore. True.

Beautiful location, excellent hosts and a sense of peace
Pros:

Location, view and sense of peace - our hosts were kind, flexible and accommodating and were perfect at booking things eg train, transport, ensuring clarity and support was foremost in their communication.
Food was superb- we ate every evening as well as a generous breakfast.
It was the perfect balance of inclusion with a family and a sense of privacy.
