The smell of mold. Sheets had mold stains on them. The bathroom ceiling also stained with mold.

Super cozy and wonderful place! The family is so sweet and welcoming, it felt like home , location is perfect 7 mins walk to yoga barn and 10 mins to the centre ( market street ). The host was available anytime if I needed something which made my stay very easy and comfortable. I planned to stay for 2 weeks than extended for 10 days more as there was everything I need. On the day I left, they gave farewell gift for my little daughter. Such a heartwarming gesture—it truly reflects the kind and welcoming environment here. I 100% recommend this place! Don’t hesitate to book. It’s a peaceful escape right in the heart of Ubud.

La camera si trova all’interno di una tipica casa balinese. La nostra stanza era molto pulita e curata. La struttura si trova a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Ubud. Koming ci ha accolti calorosamente ed è stato sempre molto gentile.

Room was cozy and well appointed. Very clean everything worked, they even had a electric socket that worked with my plugs.
We had a lovely stay at Bale Bali House! The room was clean and comfortable, the garden was peaceful, and the family who runs the place was incredibly kind and helpful. Great location - close to central Ubud (street next to the main one) but still quiet. Would definitely stay here again!
The property is traditionally styled and located quite central, it has beautiful green garden with prettiest pets. The place is run by very nice family, they helped me a lot with organizing my stay since I had few special requests upon arrival.
I cannot rate highly the room itself, although it was well maintained and clean, there was a strong moldy smell and only one tiny window to be opened. For that reason bed linen and towels need some refreshment too.
I booked it for my daughter and she was very pleased with her stay . The host was super friendly and helpful and location was perfect.
I stayed here for two weeks and really enjoyed it. Great wifi connection which was important for me when working in the afternoons/evenings. The guest house is about an 8 minute walk from the Yoga Barn which was another big advantage for me. Koming and his family are lovely and very welcoming! I’m already looking forward to coming back again!

This homestay is a great location for exploring Ubud. We fully enjoyed staying in two different rooms at the two different times we visited them, before and after our bike around the island. The hosts were generous in allowing us to keep our luggage at their place while we traveled. They also shared about Indonesian traditions And explained different parts of their culture to us.. Our favorite vegetarian restaurant was right down the street. Finally, on the last day, they took us door-to-door to the airport for a great price!
