Tauchschule und Unterkunft in einem: einfach ein rundum tolles Erlebnis!
Pros:

Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das komplette Personal: vom Reinigungspersonal bis zum Course Director und Management sind wirklich alle unglaublich freundlich und herzlich. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an total wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Der Service war durchgehend top und sehr aufmerksam.

Die Anlage selbst hat uns auch überzeugt: Der Pool ist super schön, das Essen war sehr lecker, und auch wenn die Zimmer eher klein sind, sind sie modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber.

Ein absolutes Highlight war natürlich auch die Tauchschule: professionell organisiert, tolle Betreuung und einfach ein richtig gutes Gefühl unter Wasser wie auch an Land.

Cons:

Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: Essen gibt es nur bis zum frühen Nachmittag, und Dauin ist insgesamt ein eher ruhiger, verschlafener Ort mit wenig Auswahl an Restaurants. Das fällt aber wirklich kaum ins Gewicht, da alles andere einfach großartig war.

Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Es hat uns wirklich richtig gut gefallen!

Very good club for diving and sleeping in Dauin
Pros:

Great staff and location. Good diving.

Cons:

It gets hot in the room, so a silent and closer ventilator might be a good idea.
Also, I could not find a good wetsuit my size - some had holes in them.

Great place with some unreliable staff.
Pros:

The location is great. The accommodation (apart from the old dorms and their bathroom) is very beautiful. The food is good.

Cons:

They let me down on my diving request. When booking the accommodation two days before arriving, I requested the Apo Island diving trip on my only possible day there. They said "it's too early to book that trip". I got no more replies to my messages the next day. On the day of my arrival they told me that the trip is now fully booked...

A place where you know you are in good hands, worry-less to enjoy the stay and dive, and a place definitely worth to ret
Pros:

The attentive staff, the professional DM team, the overall landscaping and vibe of this place! Their dive packages are indeed best value for every penny. The corn beef rice is must ordered!

The room was subdued, but very stylish. I really liked how it looked.

Cons:

I didn't like walking into the reception area and see that the eating area was with people smoking. I was told that I could eat over at another area and the cigarette smokers usually didn't go there. Usually... i had one of the higher end private rooms, and it's a little disappointing that there was no area to sit with the room. The ground floor rooms had an area for each room.But the second floor did not.

At check in I was to let the showers run for 5 minutes before they got warm.And that was to be taken literally and then the water pressure was pretty low. Essentially, what you're having here is taking a mid range room and putting it into a budget resort. And I just didn't think the grounds or the setting was worthy of what I paid for the room.

Fantastic dive resort in Dauin!
Pros:

The diving schedule is very convenient, customer service was extraordinary and the dive school itself makes a clean and well organised impression

Staff has been amazing, very friendly and service was fast

The food options are various and the food itself is very good

There is a feidge from which you can take drinks at any time which makes it even more convenient

The rooms are clean and spacious enough

Outside area with the pool was very nice

Warm water in the shower, water pressure was very good

Option to rent a scooter

Cons:

Matress was a bit hard for me, but that's a thing in Asia in general

A light switch close to the bed for the bungalows with the upper beds would be very helpful

Our bathroom sink was a bit small

A sort of storage area for luggage would have been nice, there is a chair in the room, a concrete shelf would be more helpful

Food only until 2:30 pm which was sometimes a bit inconvenient, unfortunately Dauin doesn't have too many options regarding food, especially after the Day trips it would have been nice to just have a snack in the evening

All in all just very minor things which didn't affect our very positive impression at all.

Excellent hotel, hostel and dive shop!
Pros:

As an enthuisiastic diver, Bongo Bongo runs an excellent, well equipped dive shop with lovely guides. I booked a private room, which was very spacious, spotlessly clean and modern. Hotel staff were wonderful. Breakfast was a-la-carte but the quality was great. Location close to the beach was lovely. Note though, Dauin is a sleepy town and not too many tourists, so a great place to come for a quiet stay, relax and unwind (which is exactly what I wanted, and loved it) but be aware that amenities outside the hotel are thus sparse and although lovely is not a "beach" destination as such (as of 2026).

Cons:

Nothing, it was all lovely.

Pros:

Grande chambre moderne et bien équipée , piscine agréable, club de plongée, emplacement près de la plage, beau snorkelling, très bon restaurant Anahaw pas loin

Cons:

Pas d'eau chaude dans la chambre, mais on peut toujours utiliser celles des dortoirs plus belles et avec eau chaude. Le personnel est sympathique dans l'ensemble quoique l'accueil pourrait être amélioré.

Nu har jeg dykket med Bongo Bongo Divers sidste år og så i år igen .Jeg overnattende der i 8 dage denne gang.Det er bare perfekt ,deres udstyr -båden og så selve dykkercenteret.
Herligt personale .

die Matratze war sehr gemütlich und das Badezimmer war sauber. Der aussenbereich ist auch sehr einladend

Cons:

Man musste für die AC extra zahlen und mein Zimmer war im Dachgeschoss also extrem heiß

Mega! Ohrenstöpsel und Mückenspray sind ein MUSS!
Pros:

Die Anlage des Tauchcenters ist wirklich super schön! Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber! Das Tauchangebot sowie die Tauchguides sind spitze, alle super nett und motiviert! Die Lage ist top, lediglich 20 Meter vom Strand entfernt.

Das Personal hilft wo es nur kann und organisiert sogar das Waschen der Wäsche sowie die Vermietung von Rollern direkt von der Unterkunft aus. Man braucht lediglich seine Wäsche zur Rezeption bringen und innerhalb von wenigen Stunden liegt diese frisch gewaschen und ordentlich zusammengelegt wieder an der Rezeption. Der Roller wird einem direkt in die Unterkunft gebracht.

Cons:

Ich hatte ein Single Zimmer mit Ventilator. Grundsätzlich war es nicht verkehrt, jedoch sehr stickig. Ohne Ventilator definitiv nicht auszuhalten. Für die Nacht braucht man unbedingt Ohrenstöpsel, da die ganze Hütte sehr hellhörig ist und der Ventilator ziemlich stark brummt. Auch hört man die umliegenden Ventilatoren, sowie Klimaanlagen. Ab ein Uhr morgens krähen dann die Hähne im Nachbargarten im Sekundentakt. Deshalb unbedingt Ohrenstöpsel!

Die Gegend ist sehr moskitoreich, deshalb unbedingt an das Mückenspray denken!
