Nous avons trouvé dans cet endroit tout ce que nous cherchions : un petit coin de paradis.
Tiki a été au petit soin pour nous ! Un petit barbecue improvisé lorsque nous avions la flemme de ressortir fatigué par notre journée.
Et évidemment, Charlie 🐈‍⬛ et lassi 🐕 sont venus complètes ce moment hors du temps

The owner was the best! Great breakfast and atmosphere.
Rent a Motorbike and ask him where to go and he will let you know the best places.
Make sure you take the shortcut in through the back way. It’s only a 10 minute walk from town and the train station this way

Super pour une pause à la montagne, à la fraiche. Très bon spot pour chiller.

Die Lage des Home Hostels ist wirklich unschlagbar. Die Hängematte und insgesamt der Außenbereich mit Blick auf die Teeplantagen laden zum Entspannen ein. Am großen Esstisch kommt man beim leckeren Frühstück kann man gut mit anderen Reisen in Kontakt kommen. Insgesamt herrscht einfach eine sehr angenehme, entspannte Atmosphäre, auch dank dem Host und den Haustieren Charlie und Lassie. Der Host hilft immer gern weiter und hat mich am Abreisetag sogar zur Bushaltestelle gefahren und mit mir gewartet, damit ich den richtigen erwische. Obwohl es so ruhig ist, ist man dank der geheimen Abkürzung durch die Teeplantagen in 10-15 Minuten im Zentrum von Ella. Mir hat der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen, danke für die schöne Zeit!

Stunning location. Chilled, friendly and relaxing social atmosphere. Comfortable and pet friendly. Great hospitality and very helpful information. Amazing breakfasts! We took a fabulous tour by our host, visiting Rawana Waterfall, lakes and cultural heritage sites. Within walking distance of the town, railway station, bars and restauants. Great walk to the Nine Arch Bridge

Very calm and chill area away from the chaos of the main town, but still easily accessible to Ella and multiple hiking trails. The hostel is very reasonably priced considering that breakfast is included and the rooms are all private.

Location is real nice and peaceful. Rooms are basic but decorated with love.

A small paradise 10 min walking from Ella Main Street. Parrots, squirrels, a cat, a dog in the middle of the nature+ an amazing host and really cool travelers around. Simple and honest. Thanks a lot for these 6 days;)

The best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. It’s only a ten-minute walk from the Main Road, yet very peaceful, with great vibes and amazing views from the hostel. Chuti is incredibly helpful with anything you need and makes delicious breakfasts every morning, with great coffee. Everything is super clean and well organized, with hot water for showers and a wonderful night’s sleep thanks to the tranquility of the mountains. In the mornings, all kinds of animals come around: parrots, squirrels, many birds of different sizes and colors, even the neighbor’s chickens and goats.

The Wi-Fi works really well, which is rare in many places in Sri Lanka. The hostel also has thoughtful little details you don’t usually see: clean towels to dry your hands, incense always burning, a small lock for your locker, and a mirror in the room.

I came for three nights and ended up staying a week. If I didn’t have a flight tomorrow, I would definitely stay longer, mostly because of the hostel itself and Chuti.

It was the best Hostel I stayed at during my vacation in Sri Lanka. The Hostel has such a chill vibe and the owner is really helpfull and Kind. Would really recommend it

Deux nuits de prévu à cet hostel s’est transformé en dix nuits passé auprès de Thuti !
C’est d’un calme absolument : à 10/15 minutes à pied du centre d’Ella, parfait pour être tout proche et en même temps loin du brouhaha de cette toute petite ville bien festive.
Chacun a une chambre individuelle, de l’eau chaude à tout moment, le nécessaire pour se faire à manger et une terrasse très conviviale et coloré qui fait face a un magnifique temple que l’on peut apercevoir niché au dessus d’une colline, même de nuit).

Franchement si je reviens à Ella un jour c’est ici que je réserverai à nouveau.
Un énorme big up à Thuti, sincèrement, qui gère cette auberge à lui tout seul et qui s’occupe de ses invités comme ses amis. Merci à toi et à bientôt 🤍

Quiet, homely and relaxed countryside in Ella. The host is very helpful and informative to provide local travel-related info. Love the crispy and fragrant bun at breakfast. Watch out for the friendly Lassi dog and Charlie cat on site! Perfect stay to explore Ella and to recover from exhaustion.

Best stay in Sri Lanka so far. The host, Choti, was incredibly kind and easygoing. He cooked me a delicious curry for dinner. The absolute highlight for me was the cat, Charlie, and the dog, Lassi. The location is great if you want to be away from the noise of the town, but still experience the beautiful surroundings, with a short walk to the town (via the shortcut - Lassi will show you the way). Highly recommended!

Hôte vraiment accueillant, hostel très propre et confortable, on se sent comme à la maison. Petit déjeuner excellent !! Petit plus, les animaux sont trop mignons.
