Casa Oliver, tra la Calanca e i castelli di Bellinzona

Die Wohnung im obersten Stock ist wunderschön, modern und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus ist sehr praktisch. Der Check-in war völlig unkompliziert und angenehm. Lorenzo und seine Frau Patricia sind unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und sorgen dafür, dass man sich wie zuhause fühlt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen mit grosser Freude wieder.

Die Buchung eines Zimmers bei „Casa Oliver“ im Dorf Grono bei Bellinzona war ein absoluter Glücksgriff. Wir wurden vom Vermieterehepaar sehr freundlich empfangen. Uns wurde zu unserer freudigen Überraschung mitgeteilt, dass wir an Stelle des gebuchten Doppelzimmers als upgrade das gerade freistehende Appartement im obersten Stockwerk erhalten. Das Appartement mit Loftcharakter ist sehr hell, modern und wertig eingerichtet. Man hat einen Blick in alle Himmelsrichtungen auf das Dorf und die umliegenden Berge. Das Vermieterehepaar ist äußerst hilfsbereit. Zum Abschied bekamen wir vom Hobbyimker Lorenzo noch ein Glas Kastanienhonig geschenkt. Fazit: Wer in dem kleinen Bergdorf Grono eine überdurchschnittliche Unterkunft sucht, trifft mit der Buchung bei „Casa Oliver“ eine gute Wahl.

Ich war nur eine Woche da,die Gastgeber sind mega freundlich,gut,kein TV,was ich übrigens ziemlich entspannend fande,Frühstück und Abendessen war nicht ausgemacht also kann ich nix sagen, werde wahrscheinlich nächstes Jahr nochmal eindrücken,p.s.Grüße an Mia.

A very lovely B&B for a one night stay. An easy 5 minute stroll into town. Hosts were delightful and gave us good recommendations for nearby restaurants, and even walked with us to make a reservation, which was handy as our Italian is hopeless!
Note the bathroom is downstairs so be aware of that when booking, if mobility is an issue

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property, and we can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, making check-in a breeze. The property itself is stunning, immaculately maintained and beautifully designed, with a perfect blend of modern amenities and cozy charm. The Casa Oliver is spacious, comfortable, and has everything you need.

Location-wise, it's ideal, conveniently close to local attractions, yet tucked away in a peaceful and serene environment. We especially appreciated the serene outdoor spaces, which provided a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring.

What truly made our stay exceptional, however, were the hosts Lorenzo and Patrizia. Not only did they provide us with a cozy, well-appointed space to rest after our days on the mountain, but they also went above and beyond by lending us their own skiing gear! This thoughtful gesture saved us the hassle of renting equipment, and it made the whole trip even more enjoyable. Lorenzo and Patrizia’s hospitality was incredible, they were so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a seamless skiing adventure. On top of that, Lorenzo and Pratizia have two lovely little dogs that added an extra layer of charm to our stay.

But the cherry on top was at the end of our trip when Lorenzo and Patrizia invited us to join them at the Grono carnival. It was such a fantastic experience, with free food, music, and a lively atmosphere. It was the perfect way to end our trip, and we were so grateful for the invitation.

Overall, we highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and relaxing stay. We can’t wait to return!

The location

Lovely hosts - really nice apartment in picturesque setting

Lorenzo and his wife were great hosts. Our room was very comfortable and warm ( we stayed in January) and the private bathroom is huge. The house is extremely clean with underfloor heating throughout. The location is quiet and the Wi-Fi was working perfectly. We had a lovely breakfast and before we left we got given a jar of homemade honey made by Lorenzo. We did not have an issue finding the location, maybe because I got in touch via whatsapp with Lorenzo after I made the booking and he sent me a link of the exact position of the property.

Location and surroundings are amazing. Lorenzo and his family are warm and welcoming. We will definitely come back in the future.
