Abhi Homestay Hampi

Deux réservations. Une grande chambre meublée avec de beaux meubles anciens, une autre plus petite, meublée aussi avec goût. Au calme, à 3 km du centre de hampi, nous avions une voiture, mais il y a suffisamment de tuktuk pour se déplacer. Boutiques, restaurants à proximité. La clim de ma chambre était à l'agonie, si bien que je n'avais pas vu la différence lorsqu'il y avait des baisses de tension qui faisait que seules les lampes et ventilateur fonctionnaient.

Brilliant homestay tucked away from the busy main street. The host Mr Raghavendra Poorma and his family were superb hosts. They provided me with a concise list of places to visit while I was in the area. And happy to engage in meaningful conversation about the changes in the area and what the future holds for tourism in Hampi. The Happy Hampi Cafe is a short walk from Abhi Homestay and serves excellent non-veg food.
The breakfast they prepared was simple and delicious. The room was very spacious with an enormous and comfortable bed. I'll definitely stay with Mr Poorma when I visit Hampi direct and would consider booking directly with the hosts.

PS. Abhi homestay is names after their son - Abhi. How sweet.

The host is very helpful. The room and facilities on property are as described. The food prepared by the hostess is very good.

It is a very beautiful, clean room at a good location to visit Hampi per bicycle (200 Rp a day, but the bicycle you need anyway to visit the scattered tempels and ruins). The owner is very hospitable.

The location. A real village with real working people and a school. Restaurants in abundance

Very well kept room. A bit far from Hampi sites, but they are so spread out you are going to need a scooter or driver anyway. Host is very gracious and helped me find a scooter. Room is clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The host Raghavendra was extremely helpful throughout. I was greeted upon arrival and the room was comfortable and clean. Raghavendra provided detailed information on sites to visit and arranged transport for me. The homestay is situated about 2 kms from the main temples abd there are shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Exceptionally good value homestay with a generous and helpful host.
Nice taste of surrounding local life especially with the ongoing banana throwing festival that was happening at the time.

Only home made food is served and it is made to order. Therefore it is always fresh and the taste is comparable to none.
If you are not very particular about the swimming pool, huge reception etc and wish to enjoy the trip then the property, don't look for other options. Best Place.
