What a gem! Great hosts; spacious, beautifully decorated bungalow in a garden setting. Bungalow has fly screens and fan so you can sleep without A/C. Delicious home cooked dinner; excellent breakfast. I will stay here again.
One of the best places I stayed in Thailand. If you need a place to relax while travelling, that's the place!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Mai Siam Resort, hosted by such a kind and caring family. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home.
What we loved most:
The resort is family-owned, giving it a very personal and genuine atmosphere.
Only two bungalows, each set back and private, surrounded by a jungle-like setting. We loved hearing the natural sounds around us and enjoying the peace and quiet.
Our bungalow was spacious, with a large open bathroom and traditional Thai-style decor. Amenities included shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bottled water, umbrellas, and even an extra blanket.
Breakfast was a highlight: we could choose our own time, and it included fresh local fruit, homemade banana muffins, breads, yogurt, eggs cooked to order, fresh orange juice, and coffee or tea.
Erik and Pranee are incredibly kind, attentive hosts. For a fair price, they drive guests to local destinations. Our day trip to Mae Kampong was unforgettable — we visited an elderly basket weaver (a favorite stop), hiked through the jungle to a waterfall, and enjoyed a delicious lunch with a beautiful view along Walking Street.
Bikes are available to borrow, and the water reservoir and Mueang On Cave are close by for exploring.
Throughout our stay, there were thoughtful little surprises that made our weekend especially memorable.
Mai Siam Resort is a hidden gem — quiet, authentic, and full of heart. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for such a special experience.

The quality of the service provided by Eric is excellent. He pays attention to every detail, is always available to drive you, and overall makes you feel at home. The food cooked by Pranee, his wife, was so good we had dinner every day at their place. Quality and authenticity are above most of Thai restaurants we ever tried ! And she knows how to adapt the level of spices to your taste without losing any flavor.

-Beautiful surroundings, I did not expect the bungelow to be in such a beautiful tropical garden
-Very clean and interior was well decorated with attention to details
-All windows and doors had mosquito nets: I could leave the doors open at night for fresh air and night nature sounds
-Bed was very comfortable and clean
-Can easily spend a few (2-4) nights here (or more): a cave, a viewpoint, monkeys, a lake, some non touristic hiking trails, hot springs, traditional towns, waterfalls: they can all be found within 10-30min drive.
-Free bike offered to cycle around

Very warm and welcoming. Beautiful setting. Comfortable and spacious rooms.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property was beautiful. It was in a quiet and very peaceful location. Great location for golf. Not many choices for restaurants.
