Really bad experience
Pros:

Absolutely nothing

Cons:

I can honestly say this is one of the absolute worst hostels I have ever stayed at in my life. There is no connection between the photos and the reality.
The host was very unpleasant, the room was dirty and looked nothing like the pictures, and at 2:30 AM people were shouting and making a lot of noise. I asked the host to do something about it, but there was nobody at reception who seemed to care or actually take responsibility. There is no order or management here.
The only positive thing I can say is that the host agreed to shorten my stay to one night, even though I had already asked to cancel my stay after just one hour.
In the morning, when I woke up, the host apologized for the noise and said she didn’t know there had been such a mess. She asked if I managed to sleep, and I told her I hadn’t slept even for one minute. Her response was simply to apologize and say that I still had to pay for that night. She didn’t even offer any compensation. What a disgrace of a hostel and a disgraceful way to treat a guest.

I paid over €30 per night for the room, which in this area could have gotten me an amazing room in a resort or hotel. Instead, I received a musty, unpleasant room. When I complained, the host simply said something like: “Yes… it might be sand on the floor. If you want, they can clean it.” Honestly, it was just absurd.
With a little more respect, the host should have offered a full refund for the unpleasant experience, instead of making me spend the night in a place I clearly did not want to stay in.
I hope anyone with even basic standards reads this and thinks carefully before booking.

Ostello molto vicino al mare

Cons:

Poca pulizia, l'ostello è pieno di cani bravissimi che però fanno pipí ovunque anche sulle gambe del tavolo sul quale si mangia o sulle gambe del divano... I lettini in spiaggia sono distrutti e davvero sporchissimi. Molto caro per i servizi che offre rispetto ad altri ostelli in Vietnam nei quali siamo stati

Pros:

Uns hat das Bungalow sehr gut gefallen. Ist groß , schlicht , hat ein ( teils ) offenes Badezimmer .. was zu „ Mitbewohner“ wie Frosche führen kann 🙂. Aber alles super, schöner Balkon , schöne Lage ( 2 min zu einem sehr schönen Strand) Die Dame von der Rezeption ( Chefin) hat uns bei allem möglichen geholfen. Sehr nettes Personal. Nebenan ist das Hostel: dadurch viele junge Menschen, und ab und zu Partys abends

Cons:

Wir haben 3 Tage verlängert, weil es uns so gut gefallen hat und hier es besser fanden als in Da Nang. In den 8 Tagen wurde das Bungalow nicht sauber gemacht und die Handtücher nicht gewechselt. Aber wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben ( zus. Handtücher , Kissen, Toilettenpapier ) mussten wir nur danach fragen. Ich glaube, so funktioniert es hier. Muss man nur vorher wissen.

Was een warm bad met liefde van de mensen en de dieren.
Pros:

De gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid van Vy.
Heerlijke oase. Wel de perfecte strand tent, bar, vibes en activiteiten.

Cons:

für ein paar Nächte kann man hier bestimmt eine schöne Zeit haben

Das Hostel ist wirklich süß, vorallem die Inhaberin war sehr lieb. Sie war zwar beschäftigt und hatte viel zu tun, aber sie hat sich trotzdem sehr mühe gegeben und war freundlich.

Cons:

Die Atmosphäre im Schlafsaal hat mir nicht so mega gut gefallen, aber das ist für jeden individuell. Ich habe es einfach lieber wenn ich mein Bett mit Vorhängen habe und so meine Ruhe haben kann, das war hier nicht der Fall. Aber das ist wie gesagt für jeden individuell.

Pros:

This is one of my favourite hostels I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. The host, Vy, has such a beautiful, caring soul. You can tell as soon as you meet her and see all of the rescue animals around you. The communal feel is really special. Unfortunately, I didn't have time for a group meal, they were just finishing as I was checking in. This hostel is the most chilled one I've had in Vietnam which is exactly what I needed after the madness in Hanoi.

Social but chill stay next to the beach of Hoi An
Pros:

The owner, the animals, the cafe with amazing food and drinks and all the other travellers staying here made my stay unforgettable. Very chill and peaceful and only 100 meters from the beach!

Cons:

Maybe adding a few more comfortable seats, like pillows in the sofas or sun loungers next to the pool, would make it perfect.
