Küche top, Zimmer top, Bad top, Besitzerin top
10 minute walk from the main street in Pucon, 20 minute walk to the beach. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Kitchen access in the hostel was great! Check in process was easy. The host was super friendly and nice.
Only thing I would suggest is not leaving the front door to guest house & windows open the entire day as small flys or gnats find their way inside. Otherwise everything was great.
Lovely place but a bit hard to find the address
Accueil sympathique.
One of the top 3 hostels I have ever stayed at. The staff is very friendly and the hostel is run by a family, which gives it a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is great access to bathrooms and showers, and a well-equipped kitchen where you can cook your own food, with a fridge and freezer available.
There is even a peach tree next to the hostel with some of the best peaches I have ever eaten. The rooms are comfortable and you have access to extra blankets and duvets in the bedroom. The common areas are clean and well maintained every day.
The location is also great — about a 10 minute walk to the town center, with good access to buses, kiosks, and fruit shops nearby.
I honestly have nothing to complain about. Next time I travel to Pucón, I will definitely stay here again.

Staff were lovely, bed was very comfortable and kitchen was accesible.
Bathroom was a bit small but facilites were very good otherwise.
The kitchen and the fridge were clean and there were plenty of bedding covers. The host was warm and welcoming. The showers are big, there is hot water and new toilet rolls in the bathrooms when it runs out.
We stayed 3 nights in the downstairs double bedroom and didn’t get a single good nights sleep.
The place is very noisy, despite we were asked to keep loud noises to a minimum, this rule didn’t seem to apply to other guests. The walls are made of plywood and the ceiling is so thin that every step feels like someone is hammering on the wall above your head.
The first night it sounded like someone was moving furniture and stomping up and down for hours until 3am, playing videos on their phone or chatting and we could hear everything. Then again at 6am. For the following nights we used earplugs. This made no difference whatsoever as the same thing happened. The lack of sleep really impacted on our energy levels and we were happy to leave.
The tourist tax exemption doesn’t apply and you can only pay in cash.
There is no fan or AC which meant we couldn’t stay in our room during the day as it was unbearably hot.
The mattress is old and the springs can be painful when lying down if you are slim.
There seems to be a lot of dust in the room and this will probably make you sneeze if you’re allergic.
I noticed the same man constantly hanging around the communal area, and at times I felt uncomfortable in his presence.
