We loved this place. Host is friendly and welcoming. Lots of cats and dogs are living in this properly so this is the stay for anyone loving animals. Breakfast was excellent.
Great stay very close to the beach
The house is in a very nice area, the outside garden feels like a forest. If you have a car, it's not a problem to get there although the road on the estate isn't in the best shape.
There's a nice pool outside as well and a kitchen, too. The room was very comfortable.
I think it should be stated pretty clearly in the advert that there's two big dogs in the property and one of them roams around. He's extremely friendly and sweet but just by being big he could be scary to some.
It's a bit awkward to be staying next door to the owner of the house. Even though the owners claim it's soundproof, it only silences the sounds a bit - I was able to talk with my partner while on the other sides of the doors. That only applies to the master bedroom, though. The others are in separate small buildings so they're more private

This beautiful, very well equipped little guesthouse was so perfect and comfortable for people like us who like to be a bit off the beaten track. On a steep hill in and overlooking the jungle, it felt like staying in a treehouse! The small but delightful private pool was perfect for a residence that houses just 3 rental units, and the dogs and cats were a lovely addition. Sandra was lovely, kind and available to help with anything. One does need a car here, but once used to the twists and turns of the road, it is easily accessible.

Sandra is a great host, flexible, kind, and a total badass. Room was comfortable, breakfast was healthy and nice, pool was lovely, proximity to jungle was wonderful, quiet chill and calm environment. Walking distance to two beautiful
beaches with (expensive) restaurants.
Very steep hills hard to drive and walk (i was recovering from an injury so it wouldn't have been an issue otherwise).
It was a bit difficult to find it at night, but once there it's like another world. It's close to the beach, but at the same time it's far enough to be secluded, surrounded by beautiful nature. The room is a good size, with a large bathroom. Comfy bed and coffee maker. Fan and air conditioner An outside kitchen can be used around the pool. Sandra is a beatiful person, thanks.
Very nice place in the nature up in the hills. But you definitely need a car to reach there!
This was a wonderful place to enjoy quiet surroundings, and to settle in! We felt cozy and comfortable in our room. The pool, the gardens, the area, were all suited for tranquility. Also appreciated the well equipped shared kitchen. The owner was great! The beach and town were a short drive away.
The place is beautiful and surrounded by nature. I stayed in the studio separate from the house, and it was really private and clean. Patrick was a great host. About a 15 min drive from El coco and a 20 min hike to playa Ocotal, and the place is accessible with any vehicle. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed the peaceful bush location at Casa Avi Fauna, and the swimming pool was an added bonus.

Wish we had spent more time there. Kids had a blast, loved playing with the dogs and cats.

The property was beautiful and the standalone studio was beautiful, private and peaceful.
I thought I had booked the studio. I had booked the one bedroom. The one bedroom is centralized in the middle of the home and was a bit awkward. I was able to switch the next day and very much enjoyed the studio.
Everything was in good condition and worked. Sandra kept things clean and maintained. Not usually the case in Costa Rica.
