Claudio et Theresa sont très accueillants, ils ont de bons conseils pour explorer Golfito et les alentours ! Teresa fait de bons petits plats très généreux en quantité. Cela fait du bien d’avoir une chambre juste pour soi qui est en plus vraiment pas cher ! Les chambres sont spacieuses et il y a un ventilateur !
Our hosts were wonderful, accommodating and helpful. They made our first two nights in Costa Rica smooth and enjoyable. Lovely breakfast, we enjoyed spotting the agouti from the terrace.
Great friendly couple who look after you on arrival. Great out door terrace to sit chill and watch the wildlife. Good location for town and surrounding area

I chose Claudio and Theresa’s property because of the possibility of viewing wildlife and birds from their balcony. And the price point.
Claudio and Theresa are very welcoming hosts. Theresa showed me my room (sparse but adequate), the separate downstairs bathroom and the balcony area overlooking the garden and stream where one might see wildlife and birds. I saw an Agouti (rodent like squirrel) and a couple of small birds but the wet weather kept other species away. Theresa cooked a lovely piece of fresh tuna with rice and salad for dinner at US$10.
It’s a Homestay and I felt a little uncomfortable sharing the common area of the balcony. Apart from laying flat on the bed provided and with the rain there weren’t other options. Admittedly, if there’s no rain, you can explore the area or even sit in the garden by the stream.
But, that’s me, and no reflection on Claudio and Theresa.

Wonderful friendly hospitality, made me feel very welcome and comfortable, a lovely cooked dinner and 5.30 am airport drop off. Thanks for a lovely stay 🙂
Nothing was everything that I needed
Owners were very nice, accomodating and guiding.
It's a walking distance from many restaurants and even a river walk right there at their backyard. Also, their backyard is a hilly forest. You can see agouties and many coloful birds while having breakfast.
The room we got is right next to the street and even though it ain't a busy one, dogs won't stop barking en masse all night long and we barely slept every night. Their next door neighbor likes to place a huge bluetooth speaker on his porch, pointing at the street, playing very loud music from the afternoon until very late, sometimes almost midnight.
Even though we know it's a guesthouse, we felt it was a bit strange that, apart from your room, there's no other place in the house where you can be in privacy or have breakfast while listening to the birds only.
Anything I needed the host would go out of their way to help.

Very Kind hosts in a beautifully kept home where everything was spotless. I only stayed a short night but would have liked to have spent more time and would love to return. Thank you again : )

this couple are the greatest. a really friendly family. this is the best place to see so much wildlife. the birds snd titi monkeys come up snd eat bananas from you. it's like a national park. the home cooked meals were delicious as well. I love these people and it felt like home. best place I have stayed so far.
The hosts Claude and Teresa are very hospitable and compassionate. They showed me the different animals and plants in their back yard, ate breakfast with me, and treated me like family. The house is kept very clean and I was very comfortable there.
