New Chili Lodge Mirissa

This is such a lovely home stay and I am extremely happy I have found this place. Room is perfect, with a little balcony, toilet and everything you need. This family run home is welcoming, with 3 rooms to rent. You can order food with the owner to be served at the balcony. Everyone is very sweet and kind. You have two really great restaurants just downstairs from your room too. It’s 10min walk to the beach via town centre and main road. There is a lot of small streets around to discover with great cafes, restaurants, and if you go further up into the village away from the seaside, you will see lovely tropical landscapes. Mirissa beach is quite busy with restaurants but has a lot to offer.

The owner was so friendly, accommodating and quickly to respond to messages. The room was comfortable and had working aircon. I slept great.

It is family-run, and everyone was very kind.
The room was clean, and the WiFi worked without any problems.

The location is in a alley but very close to the beach and has a lot of shops and stay around

This place is brilliant, lovely comfy bed, excellent air con and a fantastic balcony to sit on. Lady who runs this place is lovely too.

Everything was perfect : location, bedroom with AC, the host was super nice.

The hostess was very warm and friendly. My slippers tore apart there and she tried to find some kind of glue for shoes and helped me to fix it. Room was very clean and comfortable.
Location was perfect and so close to the beach, supermarket and restaurants were in 3 minutes walk.

Very comfortable stay in Mirissa. The place is only 5 mins from the Main Street and supermarket. The rooms were large also with a balcony, everything was clean. There was air conditioning so the room was never hot. Between 3 rooms there is a shared kitchen (2 hobs) and also a small communal balcony. It was also useful that there was a mini fridge inside the room. The host Shiromi is very nice and welcomed us with a coconut water on arrival. The family only live downstairs so it is easy to get help and the area is pretty safe. You can rent a scooter for 1,700 (much better than local companies) or a tuktuk.

A lovely homestay set back from the main, busy road, yet in a great location for beach and supermarket. Shiromi is a wonderful, kind host. We chose to have breakfast and dinner - authentic, spicy Sri Lankan food cooked by Shiromi. We suggested she opened up as a restaurant! Only had 2 nights this time but will certainly return next year. Great to have a kitchen area to use and fridge in room. Extremely good value all round.

The family were very welcoming and friendly, the room and bathroom were very clean and well kept. Good value for money!

Everything was nice and comfortable. Great friendly hosts, quiet location away from the main street, but close to the supermarket, restaurants, and not far from the beach. It was nice and clean, they also did laundry for us, we liked the balconies and everything. Nice place to stay for a very good price.
