Very good breakfast
La familia nos hizo sentir como en casa, fueron muy respetuosos y siempre con una sonrisa. Estuvimos una semana y cada día tuvimos un desayuno diferente. La localización fue perfecta porque estaba fuera de la avenida principal, pero a menos de 5 min andando.
The owners are extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and very generous.
The room is located on the ground floor, with windows facing the shared courtyard. It is right by the entrance, next to the table where other guests have breakfast, so it can be quite noisy as it is a passage area.
I couldn’t keep the windows open because there were no shutters and the garden was full of mosquitoes.
The hot water in the bathroom was not working and, since the bathroom is also used by the family, on one occasion I found it quite dirty. The house overall is not very tidy.
So close to the beach without the main street noise, so there's easy walkable access to restaurants and shops as well. The owners are very lovely people! The bed was comfy, aircon works well and they offer a good Sri Lankan style breakfast!!
The bathroom cleanliness must be improved, , the hot shower was okay, WiFi sign wasn't working very well.
Great place and friendly staff
The family was very good to us, they did everything they could for us and even extra, we felt it was good value as the breakfasts were something else, it was comfortable, beautiful yard and there was a mongoose, and a peacock there, nice fruit trees, very good people.
Kitchen could be cleaner as was a shared kitchen, problem with air conditioner leaking water but they were on it right away.

You can take tuk tuk to matara bus stand and get express way bus to drop at Colombo airport in 3 hours one person cost 1400 LKR in buss

Yes, I can see the beach with its blue surfing waters, coconut trees, and hills. The sunrise is stunning, and I love Mirissa Beach. This hotel, our family’s happy place, has a wonderful, spacious room, and there are many visitors from different countries—wow! Mirissa Beach is a world-famous island destination, known for its big, beautiful surfing waves. I hope to come again next year.”
