The place, the view the bedroom
Impossible to regulate the shower not warm
Het was moeilijk om te komen, maar na in contact te komen met het hostel werden we opgehaald en afgezet bij het hostel. We hebben ook de Bromo tocht via hier gedaan en ook daar waren we heel tevreden over. We hebben mee mogen eten met de mensen hier en we hebben veel hulp gekregen. Dit zijn de meest gastvrije mensen die ik heb ontmoet.
Eau chaude, wifi correcte, gérant sympa nous a passé une couverture additionnelle pour la nuit (froide).
Il y avait plusieurs limaces dans la salle de bain. L’emplacement n’est pas pratique pour toute autre activité que le mont Bromo
We stayed here for a night as we wanted to do the Mount Bromo tour, which we did with Bromo Backpacker.
It is quite far from the bus station (2h away) but we knew this when booking as we wanted to be close to Mount Bromo because the tour starts at 3am so please bear this in mind if you decide to book here.
Mr Heri was super helpful, providing us with all of the information we needed and was our guide for the tour. Our plan after was to visit Tumpak Sewu and Ijen hike the following day and then head to Bali but due to an upcoming holiday in Bali, it meant we had to change our plans. Mr Heri kindly helped us travel from Bromo to each destination (total of 11h drive!!). He also helped us arrange a place for us to stay and our onward travel to Bali.
The staff at Bromo Backpacker are very friendly, there are restaurants a short walk away from the hotel and an ATM nearby.

Helpful, beds were liveable, were able to organise a bromo tour on short notice.
The location is great, with a good view and easy access to nearby food options. The room is small, but it’s enough for just sleeping before heading up the mountain. For a budget-friendly stay, it does the job.
There was a strange smell in Room 4, possibly from the humidity, and I couldn’t figure out the source. The walls are very thin, we could hear people snoring all night from the next room. The bed makes a lot of noise and definitely needs replacing, but since we only stayed one night, it wasn’t a big issue. Also, there are no bathroom amenities provided, so make sure to bring your own.
The building is very nice and quite new with a great potential.
Location convenient for Bromo Jeep tour.
We have been very lucky to be arranged, by the property management, for the bromo jeep tour with a very friendly and honest driver, Heri, who made our day for a reasonable price. Thank you Heri!
Room extremely basic, a bit dusty. Couldn't really say it was cleaned recently.
The hospitality is top notch. Thank you Pak Heri, Bu Heri n Pak Slamet for assisting, helping us during the stay. Hot shower is available. The place has kitchen facility to cook noodles, make hot drinks.., and location is near to Pasar Tosari - a number of food stall available..
The room doesnt have : toiletries, slipper, toilet paper, drying rack, wardrobe. No free wifi either.
Bed were comfortable and the position is very good
Bathroom is outside the room and it was not clean.
Clean and comfortable stay, quiet and peaceful scenery. Good location to go up to King Kong Hill in the morning as we didn’t have to cross the sea of sands on our dirt bikes (as opposed to staying in Probolinggo). Short ride up approx 30 mins in the morning.
Hot shower worked but then didn’t. Was quickly fixed by the staff but stopped working again
