Pros:

Great location. Really central, not only for the town but as a base to explore both Devon and Cornwall. Emma and Ziggy even arranged alternatives for my dietry needs. Would certainly reccommend!

Nothing comes to mind.

Very pleasant hosts we would stay there again
Pros:

It was central to where we wanted to be to visit family. The rooms were quirky. Lots of little extras.

Cons:

The parking was difficult initially, although we did get the hang of it.

Great all round
Pros:

Great staff, great place, great views. They were really helpful and friendly and the place was really clean. It was good to have a fridge and freezer and a microwave too.

Cons:

Breakfast could be better but otherwise it was ace. I did expect more when I booked but maybe I didn’t look into the details.

If its available, stay here.
Pros:

Family owned and run. Great quirks to the place. Breakfast is multiple choice in your kitchen area, within your own room, which is more like a self-contained flat.

I recommend you take your own surface top cooker if you want to cook. Otherwise, there is a microwave and kettle.

Lots of cutlery and utensils.

Clean rooms.

Lighting is good throughout.

Staff (family members, etc) are all great down to earth people. No nonsense.

If you have the opportunity to stay here, you should - dont pass up seeing the jail cells.

Cons:

Getting to the parking is very tight. Its doable in a wide Tesla Model Y and therefore a van, but it is very tight. That is the only "negative" that I can think of.

A short just the 1 night, but pleasant stay
Pros:

The location in the middle of town is really convenient and there's parking albeit a little bit tight for access. A bigger car than mine would struggle to get in. I liked the kitchenette area and separate dining area too, particularly handy if you're staying for several days.

the noise from the boiler issue needs resolving, didn't like the early morning awake call from it
Pros:

liked the location,
breakfast was ok,
bathroom was nice and warm
Hosts were very friendly

Cons:

did not like the access to car park, several vehicles in car park had scratches on them! Very narrow
did not like the pillows, had to go to Tesco to buy softer ones
noise from boiler next to our room, every time a tap was turned on or toilet flushed in the building, it was so loud in our room it was louder than the TV
configuration of the room was not great, we had to move the bed so we could both get in/out. the wardrobe was too short and hanging a shirt was not possible
mould and dirt around windows and dusty in general. needs a good clean!

Great hosts, interesting sights 'round Launceston, and a great place to stay!
Pros:

Ziggy is a wonderful host. Unobtrusive, and yet very friendly and approachable. He and Emma were immensely helpful, kind and responsive. The room itself was very comfortable. Perfect for a single traveler.

Cons:

Can't really think of anything to criticize. The facilities were exactly as described. Met and exceeded my expectations.
