Worst experience with Booking

Directions are not clear
Host said she will meet us when we will arrive - never did!
We just occupied any available room we were so tired so we didn’t even care at 3 am

Good value, and a very nice host.
Pros:

Close to Sag Harbor, very nice building, and a very nice host. The host also stayed up to greet me for my late arrival, which I much appreciated. (11:30 PM)

This place is a horror nasty kill me and no one would ever know in the woods please stay away and booking's really need to research these places before having it up my anxiety is still high

Short and quiet stay.
Pros:

I had the pleasure to stay for 3 nights at Cowgirl's Place. It is situated in wooded area which makes this location very quiet. I enjoyed the swimming pool and my conversations with the family. I would certainly recommended if in town for a specific activity as I was (gone all day back in the afternoons).

Wonderful friendly helpful
Pros:

The atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet. The bed is so comfortable that it's hard to get up! The distance to Sag Harbor is less than 5 minutes so it's very convenient. All in all I give it a 10

Nothing personal against the host, but would not recommend.
Cons:

First of all, this is not a hotel - but an AirBNB-style room at the host's house, which is fine but could be communicated more clearly.
The host was not around when we arrived at 3pm (agreed on check-in time), with no welcome note or anything to even make us feel like we were at the right place. The only exchange we had with her was when she came to check in on us for 30 seconds a couple of hours later - no exchange for the rest of the stay.
No word about coffee in the morning (might've been available, but we didn't snoop in the kitchen as it really felt like we were relatively unwelcome guests into someone's home).

I cannot blame them - hosting strangers in your home might be a weird and uncomfortable thing, but for the price paid (top dollar, five star hotel prices in most cities if this wasn't the Hamptons on Labor Day), it did definitely feel like very poor value for money.
