Fijne huisjes en zwembad. Lieve host die een heerlijk ontbijt klaarmaakt. Hele fijne sfeer rondom de Homestay.

Die Unterkunft war unser Lieblingsort auf unserer 7 wöchigen Sri Lanka Reise. Es hat einfach alles gestimmt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, das Frühstück lecker und sehr vielfältig, der Pool sehr sauber und mal nicht (wie in Sri Lanka üblich) warm, das Zimmer komfortabel und sauber. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Natur, eine Nacht haben wir sogar Elefanten aus der Ferne gehört und gesehen. Es ist ein magischer Ort, an den wir gerne zurück kommen.

It was a beautiful, peaceful homestay with lovely hosts. Amazing food - and so much of it. Highly recommend!

Heel vriendelijke eigenaars.
De hond 'Rex' blaft als er s avonds of s nachts olifanten dichtbij komen. (Terrein is veilig afgemaakt met stroomdraad). Zo hadden we het geluk een wilde olifant van dichtbij te spotten.

Nice little villa in Sigiriya. Has pool and modern fitout. Nice breakfast and dinner option as well. Hosts were very friendly and helped organise transport and cooking classes etc. Highly recommend.

La chambre familiale est très bien pensée. Tout est parfait : produits de salle de bain, sèche cheveux, climatisation, ventilateur, frigo, thé et café et bouilloire à disposition, prises près des lits sur table de chevet, terrasse agréable, …. Chambre impeccable et faite tous les 2 jours.
Les petits déjeuner sont gargantuesques et très bons : sucré et salé.
Toutes les propositions de chauffeurs et Tuktuk à un prix plus que correct. Vraiment les propriétaires sont adorables et aux petits soins tout en restant très discrets.
Nous sommes restés 4 jours et ce fut le meilleur endroit de notre séjour.

They are the most incredible, generous hosts! Everything was perfect. We ate a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids), and we had the villa with private pool, which was absolutely perfect!
The food is delicious, and the hosts will do anything for you to make sure you have an exceptional stay.
It was the perfect base for Dambulla Caves / the Lion Rock etc. They will always call you a Tuktuk to get you wherever you want to go. Special shout out to our tuktuk driver, who was absolutely incredible. Wherever we went, he would take us via very interesting things to see, and give us so much information.
There is also a Peacock that sometimes visits, and we were even lucky enough to see a wild elephant walk past at night time.

From the very first arrival, we felt completely welcome! You could ask anything, and they did everything they could to help you. The location is top-notch, close to the main road but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. The green garden, the lovely pool, and the tasty juices make this a place I would recommend to everyone. The shower is also very good, by the way, with good pressure! The taxi I booked through this accommodation to go from Sigiriya to Ella was also a lot cheaper than via the Pick Me app. The car was nice, spacious and we had a great driver! The tuk-tuk that was arranged to get to the rock at 04:45 was also perfectly on time

We had a wonderful stay at Shan Mango Homestay in Sigiriya and would highly recommend it. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They organised TukTuk drivers for us and also offered to arrange safaris and other activities, which made everything very easy and convenient. The location is absolutely beautiful, very peaceful, and surrounded by nature – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We especially loved the lovely pool area and the overall calm atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable and well maintained, and the breakfast was excellent every morning. We would definitely stay here again.

Such an easy place to relax - lovely terrace, garden and pool to cool off in! We were looked after with such care. Good breakfasts too! Well positioned to get around the area though we did have our own tuk tuk rental.

Unser Privater Pool war super. Das Ehepaar führt die Unterkunft mit viel Liebe. Sie haben uns die Safari mit den Elefanten organisiert. Diese war ein Traum. Wir haben Baby-Elefanten gesehen.

The property had aircon, hot water, an amazing swimming pool with sunbeds and it was off the road so was quiet

Wow!! What an amazing stay in Sigiriya. We had such a wonderful time at Shan Mango Homestay. We had our own private little house with a private swimming pool, which made the stay feel very special. It truly felt like an oasis of peace surrounded by banana trees and mango trees. The nature all around the house is absolutely beautiful and very relaxing.

If you are visiting Sigiriya, you should definitely book this place. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely come back if we ever visit Sri Lanka again!

Super lieber Gastgeber, ein tolles vielfältiges Frühstück, ruhige Lage mit schönem Pool, tolle Ausflugsorganisation zu einer Elefanten-Safari, schöne große Zimmer. Alles klasse; wir würden wiederkommen.
