Akash Treehouse

Hardstikke leuke accommodatie in een boomhut. Ons huis op een mangoboom gemaakt. Zeer ruime badkamer en een heerlijk bed. Eigenaren erg vriendelijk en kookles van de eigenares zeker een aanrader. Ook een leuke straat om naar het centrum te lopen of naar het uitkijk punt voor de Lion rock. Ontbijt echt heerlijk, steeds anders.

Massage in een nabijgelegen soort health center was erg duur (€95 voor 2x een uur), is niet van de eigenaar zelf, maar wel op zijn advies. Ook beetje onze eigen schuld omdat we voordien niet naar de prijs hadden gevraagd. Zeker de moeite waard om te boeken, alleen voor massages even de prijs checken!

Wat een geweldige ervaring was het om in de Tree houses te slapen. De douche heeft warm water. De familie was erg lief en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was geweldig uitgebreid en lekker. Het diner wat vers voor ons bereid werd was zalig. We hebben de tuktuk tour met hen gedaan en hebben leuke dingen gezien. Ook de cookingclass was zeer geslaagd. Deze ervaring hadden we zeker niet willen missen bedankt lieve familie Akash.

Les cabanes sont très belles, propres et bien équipées. Les hôtes ont été parfaits avec nous et nous ont aidé à organiser notre séjour (taxi, Tuktuk, conseils…). Vraiment supers.

Part of the jungle with the comforts of home. Loved every second. Delish and his beautiful wife, were such great hosts. Very welcoming and accommodating. Custom homemade breakfast and main meal were spectacular. The best food in Sigiriya.

Everything. Genuinely. The location is amazing. Tucked away in the jungle but an easy walk to restaurants. Be back before dark to avoid the elephants though. The treehouse was delightful and comfortable. Shan is an outstanding host and took us to Lion Rock, picked us up when we accidentally stayed out after dark and was full of useful information and smiles. His Auntie was amazing too and provided us with the best food and a cookery lesson too. Our daughters recommended this place to us, and loved Shan too and we are so pleased we took their advice!

Bardzo oryginalny pensjonat z domkami na drzewach oraz pokojami w bungalowach.Czysto ,dobre jedzenie, super życzliwi gospodarze. 15 minut jazdy do Pidurangali i Lion's Rock.

Akash family is extremely kind and helpful! Their treehouses are very beautiful and clean, dinner and breakfast are excellent! Definitely our best meal in Sri Lanka! We absolutely recommend to stay here:)

Naast dat de boomhut zelf heel leuk was, hebben we hier ook fantastisch gegeten. Waarschijnlijk onze lekkerste curry van de reis en een heerlijk ontbijt. De boomhut is idyllisch met eigen terras waar vandaan je mooie foto's van dieren kunt maken. Super aardige eigenaren.

The treehouse itself is stunning and in such a tranquil location away from the main roads of Sigiriya. The hosts were the loveliest people and welcomed us like they were welcoming us into their home. The breakfast and dinner were both sensational - proper home cooked Sri Lankan food. We would come back here just to eat again as well as stay.

Room and bathroom were nice an clean, Hosting family was realy friendly and helpfull. Food for breakfast was realy good, We can trcommended 🙂

Es ist sehr cool in einem Baumhaus zu übernachten, wir haben uns der Natur außen herum sehr nah gefühlt. Die Hosts waren sehr nett und fuhren uns auch mit ihrem eigenen Tuk-Tuk entsprechend unserer Pläne zu fairen Preisen. Das Abendessen ist super.

Magica casetta sull’albero con tutti i servizi essenziali, compresa aria condizionata. Immersa nella foresta tra alberi di frutta. Ottima e abbondante la colazione servita sotto il capanno. E al pomeriggio la meraviglia del Minneriya

Sehr schönes Baumhaus mit neuer und leiser Klimaanlage, welche bei der warmen, schwülen Luft Nachts wirklich wichtig war. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist auch total nett. Im Preis ist sogar ein Frühstück enthalten, welches ebenfalls gut war. Insgesamt ein unschlagbares Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
