We received a warm welcome on arrival, and told to relax and enjoy a cuppa before going to our rooms. The homestay is located among the wider family’s house so you really get an insight into culture and living here. Most of my interactions were with Aldi, who was home from his studies for a week. He made sure we were always looked after, always offered a drink and he accompanied us on a tour of the local waterfall and villages. Aldi shared lots of information on culture in Tetebatu and Lombok which I really appreciated.

As in previous reviews, nothing was pushed on us we were welcome to have a look at the available tours they offered, and choose whether to eat at the homestay or not. The food here is really affordable and good. I had the noodle soup which was generous and a papaya curry which was even more generous! The village where the homestay is is small but ever so friendly. We were greeted everytime we walked passed someone and in shops had long conversations with local owners. If you like a beer with a view we’d recommend walking to the nearby Cosy Corner (who are also very friendly).

Would absolutely recommend staying here - thanks to Aldi and the family for their hospitality.

Our stay here was amazing, we felt immediately super welcomed by the host family and greatly enjoyed their company. The rooms were comfortable, great value for money. The homestay was located right next to beautiful scenery, would recommend!

Very nice homestay in Tetebatu. You can eat book activities and scooter. The family is very welcoming and the breakfast included is very good !

A truly lovely stay at these family-run cottages. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is simply outstanding. The family’s cooking class is a must-do – fun, authentic, and absolutely delicious. The restaurant feels homely and genuine, making the whole experience very special.

First of all, a big thank you to the wonderful family who really went out of their way to help with everything. We rented a scooter for 100k and were served a nice breakfast (scrambled eggs and toast).

Beste Unterkunft auf Lombok bisher. Die Familie, die das Hostel betreibt ist so etwas von freundlich. Kaffe und Tee werden dir immer gratis angeboten. Wir haben am ersten Tag hier einen Kochkurs mit der Familie gemacht. Dabei hatten wir viel Spaß und es war echt ein Highlight.

Logement tenu par une famille très accueillante et ravie de nous montrer leur petit coin de paradis.
Ils seront ravis de discuter un petit peu avec vous si vous le souhaitez.
Chaque chambre a un lit double, ventilateur, douche et toilettes. On nous fournit des serviettes et papier toilette.

Le restaurant est dingue, nous avons très bien mangé. La nourriture met un peu de temps à arriver mais elle vaut le coup.
Boissons ( thé et café) à volonté toute la journée.

Nous avons fait l’excursion rizière + cascade + Monkey Forest avec un ami de la famille et c’était super.
Je recommande.

Los chicos que gestionan el lugar son muy amables y puedes hacer con ellos excursiones por la zona.
