Let it be your first and only choice.
Pros:

Wonderful and helpful hosts. We were given a clean room with a clean bathroom and soft beds.

I loved my stay here and I hope the hosts will think about visiting me in Meghalaya some day.

1000/10 would recommend them.

Would definitely recommend! Great value for money
Pros:

Super nice home stay run by a lovely couple. They are extremely welcoming and happy to help you arrange anything during your stay. Breakfast is delicious as well as the home cooked meal option at night.
The location is convenient, the whole village is at walking distance.

Pros:

L'accueil de nos hôtes est fabuleux. Le couple propose des cours de cuisine pour 8 euros par personne, est de bon conseil pour les excursions, recommande des activités.
Ils sont à l'écoute et aux petits soins.
Le guest house est proche de la réserve, du centre ville, tout en étant au calme .
La literie parfaite et le confort de la chambre également.

Top Lage, sehr schöne und super Unterkunft
Pros:

Top Lage, großes Zimmer, sehr sauber und eine super nette Vermieterin. Eingang des Nationalparks zu Fuß erreichbar.

Highly recommended.
Pros:

Jobin and his family were great. They gave lots of advice and help with local arrangements (logistics, tuk-tuk hires, etc.). We stayed four nights in a fan-cooled room with firm, but comfortable twin beds. A/C was not needed because nighttime low temperatures were in the mid-60’sF. Freshly prepared and nice Keralan breakfast was provided each morning and as well as very good evening meals on two occasions for an extra charge. The rooms were roomy and clean. We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to stay here.

Cons:

All good, except hot water supply was limited.

herzlich, liebevoll, top lage
Pros:

sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite gastgeberfamilie, wunderbares frühstück, zimmer war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtetes zimmer mit terrasse zum verweilen. die unterkunft ist in der ruhigen seitenstrasse gelegen, in perfekter gehdistanz zum park und zum einkaufen und essen. wir hatten einen super aufenthalt hier!

Oasis in Kumily
Pros:

We have stayed in beautiful homestays before, but this one was exceptional. The host family is very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed a wonderful cooking session with them. They gave us great recommendations for what to do and where to find good food. With their own unique and beautiful style they created a little oasis in the middle of Kumily. We enjoyed our time there very much. Thank you!
