I was treated as an honoured guest in a private home. Lorena could not have been a better host. She made sure everything was just right including transport from the cruise terminal and to the bus station. Thank you Lorena and Max

Me gusto mucho la atención y disposición de la dueña, destaco su amabilidad, preocupación y comprensión. También me gusto lo acogedora que era la casa y la habitación. Por sobre todo destaco la seguridad del lugar y su buena ubicación para llegar con facilidad al centro y borde costero.

Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great communication from Lorena beforehand and she and Max picked us up from the bus station after arriving from Santiago. It was great to have some extra help with our heavy cases! Lorena was so friendly and welcoming to her lovely home. So were her dogs who are just gorgeous. Her offer to drive us to the harbour to join our cruise ship was very welcome too. Thankyou Lorena and Max for your hospitality. Maybe see you in Ireland sometime… Love, Richard & Shirley

Good neighborhood with lots of nearby restaurants. Secure parking on the property. The best hostess ever! A quiet peaceful place to rest..

Everything was super clean, cozy and comfortable.

We had a lovely stay. Very attentive to anything we may have needed.

We do not usually eat much for breakfast; therefore we requested a very light breakfast. I am sure a heavier breakfast would have been provided if we were looking for such.

The breakfast was amazing. Lorena would make you whatever you wanted. Lots of food and everything was made to order. On our first day we were tired after a 10 hour delay, Lorena made sure that we had everything that we needed and even picked us up at the airport despite the delay.We decided to walk into town where there was a huge fish market, a mall and a casino. The location of Lorena's house is about a 30 minute walk to everything. The area is very safe and the people were very friendly. We planned to go out for dinner however when we returned to Lorena's house she had made us dinner. A wonderful Chilean meal. We ate together and Lorena and her son Max helped us to understand more about life in Chile. We felt so comfortable, drank some wine together and we honestly felt like part of the family. On day 2 we decided to go into Santiago. We took the bus which went directly from San Antonio to Santiago for $6 each one way. in the morning before we left Lorena made sure that we had a big breakfast. She then gave us excellent instructions on how to get around Santiago. She even gave us a pass for the subway. We had the most amazing day because of all of the information Lorena shared with us. In the morning of our cruise Lorena took us to the port. Lorena and her beautiful home is a place that you must stay if you are visiting San Antonio. I would also recommend doing what we did and stay in San Antonio if you are going on a cruise. Santiago is very accessible by bus so you may want to consider it as an option to staying in Santiago. I would also recommend arriving a few days before your cruise so that you can enjoy the area before the cruise.

Located in a nice secure neighborhood

Lorena picked us up at the airport, with breakfast in hand. She took us to her home, cooked all our meals for us and introduced us to her family, as well as gave us a tour of the area. We went to the fish market, mall and walked along the shore. She also bought us a local drink with dried peaches. YUM! Lorena went out of her way to make us comfortable. She even dropped us off at the port for our cruise.
