Peak Hospitality in a gorgeous setting
Pros:

This place is absolutely ethereal. Tucked in to side of the quiet little hamlet of Fisherstown, there is a cute wee house set in the Irish countryside. After unpacking your bags, be sure to take the five minute walk to the little bridge that crosses the Athy branch of the Grand Canal. During golden hour, the view will transport you to a Jane Austin novel.
The host is gracious and kind, the bed was plush and absorbed our weary bodies lovingly after a day of adventurous driving on the Irish country roads. Be sure to visit the adorable thatched roof pub across the corner that has been operating for 400 years. We will be telling stories about this place forever.

Amazing gem 😀
Pros:

I would highly recommend the Yoke B&B, John the owner was very friendly and welcoming.
The B&B is a 3 bedroom cottage on the side of their house, it has a huge kitchen and bathroom. The bedrooms are also lovely.
Please don’t be put off by the shared bathroom, it’s shared between the 3 rooms and is immaculate as is the whole of the B&B.
There wasn’t breakfast included but John had left out tea, coffee, croissants and porridge pots which he told us to help ourselves too.
We will definitely stay here again.

Cons:

Nothing !

Underwhelming
Pros:

It’s very clean apart from the shower screen in bathroom
Mattress and bedding were fine , there is tons of storage in the room but it’s overkill for a B&B where you are spending a night or two and it makes the room feel really small
Host was really lovely when we arrived but we never saw him again including when we checked out the next morning

Cons:

Reviews are so positive we were expecting it to be fabulous and it was just good/average, we were expecting an en-suite and it’s a shared bathroom, possibly my error when booking but it’s not clear on the details
We booked a double room but it was a queen bed so really small for the two of us
You need to drive 5 miles at least to get dinner and breakfast
