This place tried to change my booking 2 days prior to my booking. They said I wanted a extra bed, when I had booked a room with a double bed and a futon. I tried to phone them 5 times to ask them what they were on about but it went straight to voicemail....

Cons:

Then on hogmany, of all days, the day of our stay, they cancelled the room without warning at 04.07am! I tried to call, no answer, tried again she answered when I asked her what was going on she hung up on me. I had already pre paid, now I have to wait 7-12 days for a refund. And on hogmany I had to find somewhere else to stay. It wasn't in the most accessible of places. Really they should be investigated for this and not allowed on this website. They are giving booking.com a bad name. Ive never had this issue before.

Fabulous host!
Pros:

Very friendly welcome from Brenda! She made us feel as if we were at home. After a little misunderstanding about the beds, she very kindly offered us an additional room. Yummy cooked breakfast is made at request.

Excellent B&B located close to the Cairngorm Mountain area and the area east of Inverness.
Pros:

The Cooperage was a B&B homestay. We were in an upstairs bedroom where it was quiet and shared a restroom with those upstairs, there was a downstairs bathroom if needed. Our host sat us down in the kitchen every morning and prepared our breakfast to order, we were quite satisfied with our food. The home was extra clean and nicely decorated. The location was central to the area of Scotland east of Inverness, there were lots of castles, passes, coast and lighthouses to visit. We had close access to the Cairngorm mountain area from there as well. Parking was supplied and the host let us keep a few things in her refrigerator.

Cons:

There is nothing bad to say about this stay.

Accueil chaleureux et bienveillant de Brenda, l’hôte du séjour. La chambre ainsi que la qualité du mobilier et notamment la propreté des lieux sont indéniable. Charmante maison au cœur de la campagne écossaise et à proximité du parc national.

Pros:

It was an amazing stay at Brendas place, we loved our room, everything we needed was there. Super clean, you could almost eat from the floor. The breakfast time was super nice with some chats & exchange with Brenda. We also were allowed to use the kitchen (fridge, microwave, etc). Many thanks for this exceptional welcome 🙏🏻

A lovely stay in a beautiful setting, a good night's rest and lovely friendly host.
Pros:

Comfortable bed.Brenda the host was very friendly. Amazing views from velux window. Comfortable bed and nice bedding, lovely clean room.Tea tray with all you need for a drink.Beutiful bathroom.

Having prepared fruit,Having to cut a mango with a blunt knife not easy.Also Having 2 bath towels ready when 2 guests are staying only 2 put out in bathroom.
