The family were very nice to chat with and very helpful during our stay. Let us rent a scooter for a couple of hours to see the area. Yummy breakfast.

The owner was really friendly and kind, The home cooked dinner and breakfast was very nice. Only a short walk into town if you need to visit a convenience store. I was motorbiking around vietnam and the lovely owner even gave me some bannanas for my trip.
Die Inhaber sind ein unglaublich nettes Pärchen, man fühlt sich wie zu Hause und für einen Aufpreis bekommt man köstliches Abendessen und Frühstück. Man hat außerdem viel Privatsphäre und einen Roller kann man sich auch mieten.

The couple was so sweet and caring, told us everything we needed to know, made us feel welcomed and really got to know them. They offered amazing breakfast in the morning. Overall a great place to stay!

Probably the best price-value place you could choose in Yen Bai. I arrived by bike in the afternoon and the couple immediately made me feel welcomed. Almost like part od the family!
The room is spacious, pretty clean, and the bed is quite comfortable (not the typical had Vietnamese mattress). There was water provided, Wifi worked fine. There was also AC, a fan and a mosquito net but I didn’t have to use them.
I requested dinner, which was a feast! She cooked all sorts of food. She also packed some rice and eggs for me in a tupper to take away next day. Breakfast was also nice and plentiful.

Paid 180VND for the night (Booking), 150VND for dinner and 50VND for breakfast.
Of course it’s a “basic” place but has everything you need. It’s pretty clean for Vietnamese standards (floor, bedsheets, etc…) but there’s some dust and stains on the walls, here and there. Nothing alarming though.
Loveliest guesthouse in Yen Bai! The host is extremely friendly and makes you feel welcomed immediately. The room is basic but very comfortable and everything is very clean.
You can order a nice breakfast there for an affordable price and also rent a moto.
What you would expect for paying this price, if not more! Plus the loveliest most caring couple run this, had dinner here and it was delicious, the couple even packed the leftovers up for us to take on our journey the next day!
The bed was pretty springy so wasn’t the most comfortable! But better than we’ve paid for more money than this.

The host was exceptional and did everything he could to make sure I was ok. He brought me up a free dinner which was really sweet and made a really nice breakfast for a cheap price.
The rooms were a bit cold at night as the AC didn't heat the room unlike a lot of AC units.
The host is kind and very helpful. Made some time when I got sick. Obviously there is a language barrier but Google translate helps. Although he is not good at recommending places on Google maps such as shops, he will just point somewhere on the maps but not actually show you a specific place 😅
