Beautiful little homestay amidst the mountains
Pros:

Great host. Cozy rooms with a great view. Nice food.

Cons:

Service could be a little fast. Otherwise perfect. All staffs are cordial and helpful.

My Kalimpong break
Pros:

I did a staycation ( 8 days) , primarily to escape the hot weather of Gurgaon, and find some time for myself and do my work.
Excellent location close to the city centre. The Owner is personally involved and very caring.
Great value for money. Yes, one needs to be a good walker and a strong heart ( Was staying on the 3rd floor, going up and down the stairs at least 4 times a day. ) Also the walk to the city centre is also not meant for the weak hearted as the roads are up and down. Good for people who love to do cardio exercises .I am 60.
The misty morning and evening, was a great feeling. Since I was on the 3rd floor, I could enjoy the beautiful mountain 🏔️ views and watch the clouds settling down on the valley below me.

Cons:

The rooms could do with fans and some paid channels on tv. I did feel the need to watch some sports and some news . However, it also felt good to be detached from the world.

Pros:

The rooms were reasonably good.

Cons:

The property owner is extremely rude and does not know how to run a property like this; when asked for services, he simply denies or demands to leave the place. The property is not a hotel, just a homestay, with only one staff (he is very good actually) who keeps running the services. Services are also very basic, not as promised on the internet listings. For example, no continental breakfast was available, however we paid for one in advance. Extremely bad experience overall.

Excellent Location
Pros:

Away from city's hustle bustle but still near to market place. Excellent view from the room balcony, spacious, clean and well maintained rooms. Food was tasty with several varieties (both veg and non veg). Staff is very courteous and professional. Special thanks to Mr. Tamang (owner) for making the holiday a memorable one.

I warmly recommend this accommodation
Pros:

This lovely property was good value for money. It was a splurge stay for me at the very end of a 4-week visit to Darjeeling and Sikkim, where I stayed mostly in humble homestays. My corner room was big and bright and modern. The bed linens were nice quality; the manager’s attentiveness to my special requests was very much appreciated.

Cons:

It’s not centrally located but the upside is that it’s fairly quiet and not hard with the help of staff to get a shared taxi into town.
I also suggest foreigners specifically request an English speaking driver when booking a car for a day with management.

Pros:

We enjoyed a clean and comfortable stay with nice views and delicious homely food. It is a bit away from the city center, but the peaceful surroundings make it well worth it.

Cons:

We faced problem of water passage in the toilet but it was taken care of without any hesitation.
