Exceptionnel ! Une famille incroyable
Pros:

Famille extraordinaire, logement ultra propre et vintage. Ils nous ont offert un panier de bienvenue, et nous ont aidé pour réserver nos billets pour les îles Gili. Grace a notre hôte nous avons même pu réserver un chauffeur à notre retour des îles. Nous recommandons vivement.

Truly Balinese experience
Pros:

Comfortable bed, good breakfast, nice view, good location, lovely owner.

Cons:

Very steep stairs to get to the room, bathroom needs upgrading, no top sheet - only quilt the bed. No safe or lockable drawer for valuables. No kettle or coffe/tea making facilities.

Gezellige homestay
Pros:

Bay View House, gerund door een familie, is een kleine accomodatie in traditioneel Balinese stijl met 2 slaapkamers, perfect voor als je op doorreis bent. Ik moest om 09:00 de fastboat hebben naar Gili Air en ik kreeg zoals afgesproken om 07:00 mijn ontbijt op het balkon.
De ruimte bestaat uit een living met koelkast en een aparte slaapkamer met badkamer. Het is heel basic, maar meer heb je eigenlijk ook niet nodig.

Cons:

Het enige minpunt is een hele steile trap met hoge tredes. Je moet je goed vasthouden aan de railing.

Tip: een kleine waterkoker met koffie en thee faciliteiten

Echanges fluides en amont. Très bonne organisation du transfert de l'aéroport à l'hôtel. Hôtelier accueillant. Logement calme. Literie confortable. Parfait pour nous en transit d'une nuit avec accès direct au port à pied le lendemain matin.

Cons:

Je rejoins les commentaires précédents pour la salle de bain. Pour information : une partie des marches pour accéder à notre chambres étaient très hautes et très raides - conditions difficiles pour certaines personnes (handicap ; surpoids ; acrophobie etc.)

- persönlicher, freundlicher Kontakt mit hilfsbereiten Besitzer
- angenehme Gespräche über Kultur und Leben auf Bali
- gut funktionierender Kontakt über WA (Transfer)
- leckeres, auch frühes Frühstück
- Besitzer bringt morgens zur Anlegestelle der Boote nach Gili

I would not recommend anyone to book this place.
Pros:

This is my stay on Bali. I wanted to take a boat directly from Bali to Gili T without any transfers, so I paid a high price for a private car and this accommodation. However, the room was shockingly bad. There was no outward‑facing window at all, and it looked nothing like the photos. What’s more, the ferry ticket arranged by the host did not go straight to Gili T. Had I known, I could have booked a room and boat ticket near Senur Port for only one‑fifth of what I spent. I was really disappointed with my first‑day stay.

La amabilidad de la familia

Me cuesta mucho poner esta reseña porque la familia que regenta el alojamiento fue muy amable, pero la realidad es que el lugar no me gustó.

- Hay que subir unas escaleras empinadísimas para acceder a la habitación.

- La habitación que me tocó a mí no era la de las fotos. Estaba sin reformar. Tenía una puerta que daba a un pasillo sin salida, pero era desagradable que estuviera ahí. Más aún cuando la puerta del baño no cierra y éste tenía una ventana que daba a ese pasillo y tampoco cerraba.

- El baño merece mención aparte. El olor a humedad era insoportable (habia una humedad visible gigante en el techo) y lo único limpio era el váter (menos mal). La ducha no tenía desague y la bañera evacuaba en el suelo del baño para ir a parar a una especie de alcantarilla. Por supuesto, no me duché.
- En la mesilla de noche había lentillas secas de un huesped anterior. Señal de que no limpian adecuadamente la habitación.

- Y la joya de la corona (después del baño): la cama tenía sábana bajera, pero no encimera. Solamente un nórdico fino SIN FUNDA. Tuve que usar mi toalla de la playa para taparme. Yo ya dudaba incluso de que hubieran cambiado las sábanas...

Mi experiencia como persona que viaja sola no fue nada buena. Pero creo que es la vibra general en PadangBai. Sin duda, si volviera, evitaría dormir en esta localidad y no recomendaría este alojamiento a mis conocidos a pesar de la amabilidad de la familia.

Pros:

Un grand merci à Darta Hite pour son accueil et son aide. Logement très bien placé car pas loin du port pour prendre le ferry. Propre et confortable avec la vue sur le port. En plus de ça il propose un service de taxi, merci à son fils pour notre trajet retour.

Cons:

Salle de bain dans son jus mais qui reste fonctionnelle.
