Pros:

Wonderful Balinese style with beautiful carved and painted doors. Fantastic roof top views over temples and harbour, ocean. Wonderful host, I'll, who organised a great snorkelling trip and organised transport to airport.

La amabilidad de la familia

Me cuesta mucho poner esta reseña porque la familia que regenta el alojamiento fue muy amable, pero la realidad es que el lugar no me gustó.

- Hay que subir unas escaleras empinadísimas para acceder a la habitación.

- La habitación que me tocó a mí no era la de las fotos. Estaba sin reformar. Tenía una puerta que daba a un pasillo sin salida, pero era desagradable que estuviera ahí. Más aún cuando la puerta del baño no cierra y éste tenía una ventana que daba a ese pasillo y tampoco cerraba.

- El baño merece mención aparte. El olor a humedad era insoportable (habia una humedad visible gigante en el techo) y lo único limpio era el váter (menos mal). La ducha no tenía desague y la bañera evacuaba en el suelo del baño para ir a parar a una especie de alcantarilla. Por supuesto, no me duché.
- En la mesilla de noche había lentillas secas de un huesped anterior. Señal de que no limpian adecuadamente la habitación.

- Y la joya de la corona (después del baño): la cama tenía sábana bajera, pero no encimera. Solamente un nórdico fino SIN FUNDA. Tuve que usar mi toalla de la playa para taparme. Yo ya dudaba incluso de que hubieran cambiado las sábanas...

Mi experiencia como persona que viaja sola no fue nada buena. Pero creo que es la vibra general en PadangBai. Sin duda, si volviera, evitaría dormir en esta localidad y no recomendaría este alojamiento a mis conocidos a pesar de la amabilidad de la familia.

Pros:

Un grand merci à Darta Hite pour son accueil et son aide. Logement très bien placé car pas loin du port pour prendre le ferry. Propre et confortable avec la vue sur le port. En plus de ça il propose un service de taxi, merci à son fils pour notre trajet retour.

Cons:

Salle de bain dans son jus mais qui reste fonctionnelle.

Perfect start to my trip - safe , comfy and authentic
Pros:

An authentic family compound with the room at the very top that had incredible views and have a great taste of residential life in a small village across the rooftops and backyards . Friendly family and I was picked up from the airport by their son in a very nice car who was lovely. The house is five mins from the ferry check-ins and eating spots for dinner. They provide a great breakfast with lots of options on their homemade menu

Nothing . TIP : Earplugs needed for night and early morning prayer call if you aren’t an early riser

Excellent. Great place for someone is catching ferry to Gill Islands

Un accueil très chaleureux dans cette belle maison de famille balinaise. Un grand espace privatif au dessus d'un beau jardin.
La propriétaire est très souriante, gentille et vous aidera volontiers.
Un bon petit déjeuner est servi à votre étage.
Emplacement idéal pour les départs en bateau ((100m à pied).
Pour résumer, un séjour au top !

Exceptional stay
Pros:

The people and the location. Bryan and his parents were incredible hosts, Bryan picked us up at the airport, his mother made us incredible breakfast in the morning and his father walked us (with our luggage) to the ferry checkin point. I would 100% recommend and will come back.

Awesome homestay with a beautiful family and super convenient to ferry’s.
Pros:

This is a wonderful tradition homestay run by a beautiful local family. They cook you a delicious breakfast you can eat on the verandah overlooking the village.
This is perfect to access the ferry’s and is a short easy walk. Plenty of Warung’s around.
I was on my own and felt perfectly safe.

Cons:

The stairs do look intimidating but the family carry your bags and they’re just the typical steep Bali stairs. Don’t let the stairs put you off.
