Clean accommodation, but greedy host, and the Wi-Fi didn't work.

The check-in went smoothly.
The room was clean.

Cons:

The Wi-Fi didn't work in the room, and the advertised Wi-Fi was one of the main reasons for booking this place.
There were plenty of blankets, but they were all smelly.
The room had a washing machine, like advertised, I brought detergent, and I asked the host (the man we interacted with us) to give us a clothes dryer. He insisted for us to get the clothes downstairs, because he has a dryer there. We did as he asked, then, after washing and drying, the host asked for BRL 120, although the general cost in Sao Paulo is between BRL 18 and BRL 30 for a combined wash and dry cycle.

A tia Ana e o Carlos são pessoas incríveis e maravilhosas!! Esse lugar é um lugar muito acolhedor. Vc se sente em uma casa de um familiar querido. Eu com certeza voltarei mais vezes. Tudo limpo, cheiroso e confortável.

Great location and services
Pros:

I had a lovely time at Hostel Tia Ana. Tia Ana and Carlos were the best. They helped with information, great tips, and Tia Ana is an amazing cook. I had breakfast and other lovely meals during my time there. Het is echt een aanrader!

Pros:

The accommodation was great. Very quiet place, 5 min walk to the shop and 7 min walk to the restaurant. 20 min walk to the center on a very nice road full of restaurants and shops. The place and the road to the center are very safe!!! I went to restaurants here even in the evening :-). Tia Ana and Carlos are very friendly. They came to the airport for me at 4.30 am and took me there again at 5 am. The price was good. Carlos also took way me to the exchange office. The room is good, everything OK and there is air conditioning. No problem. The beds are great. I will definitely come back. I RECOMMEND!!!
