Excellent
Pros:

Great location, 10-15 minute walk to beaches and town. If you want somewhere close to eat, there are also some restaurants a few minutes away.
Host was very accommodating and helpful.
Room was clean and good aircon.

Extremely disappointing - Do not be fooled by the high ratings!

​I was shocked by the gap between the excellent reviews and the actual reality. After two weeks in Sri Lanka, this was by far the worst value for money we encountered.
​The room was tiny, with one side of the bed literally pushed against the wall. The windows were completely blocked by a concrete wall outside, offering no light or air. The bathroom was cramped, the ceiling was very low, one of the light bulbs didn't work, and there was a leak from the sink. To make matters worse, there was only one power outlet in the entire room, and it wasn't even near the bed.
​Unlike the warm hospitality we experienced everywhere else in Sri Lanka, the welcome here was tired and unfriendly. The only 'highlight' was the balcony, but it was infested with flies and the hammock was full of holes.
​Extreme mismatch between the price and the quality. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. No, and No.

Lovely authentic homestay away from the busy centre beach but close enough to walk and enjoy! Local places for food close by. Great host Insuri who was welcoming & looked out for me when I was poorly in the room with a migraine. Highly recommend for solo travelling female. Always felt safe. Lots of wildlife around monkeys lizards & birds. I loved it. Thank you

Absolutely wonderful place
Pros:

We loved Everything about this place. It was the best place we stayed in hole Sri Lanka. The room has a shared kitchen with a fridge and free tea and coffee. Warm lovely shower, and the best terrace overlooking the garden. It was so wonderful sitting there looking at all the birds, peacocks, giant lizards and so many different monkeys. A living zoo, absolutely wonderful wild life. The top roof has a stunning view over the sea. The Hiriketiya beach is only a short walk from here maybe 5 min. Very close to Blue beach Island. It’s located in a nice and quiet area away from the party areas. The owners and people working there are so sweet and helpful with whatever you need. They also do laundry and they served us a free breakfast the first day. I highly recommend this place

Il est bien placé entre la blue beach et la plage Hiriketiya.

Cons:

Je me suis senti en prison, peu de lumière dans la chambre, une chambre qui s’ouvre sur un salon, je n’était pas à ma place.
La chambre était minuscule et disposer d’une salle de bain commune ( peu explicite dans la description peut être le mettre dans le titre ?)
La propriétaire ne nous a pas rendu la monnaie lors du check in.

Pros:

The place was very clean and the staff and the host was very very helpful and supportive. The homestay is surrounded by greenary and very accessible to the beach and eateries. Definitely try the roti Dhal they make for breakfast along with fruits. The house is very clean.

Доброжелательные и отзывчивые хозяева, всегда готовы помочь.
Атмосфера спокойная и уютная, чувствуешь себя комфортно с первых дней.
Всё необходимое для проживания есть, чисто и удобно.
Отличный вариант, чтобы насладиться Шри-Ланкой и отдохнуть.

Moved to a room with aircon as it was very hot, clean and comfortable, room was a relatively good size. Great host !
Was just out of town, nice and quiet and only a 7-8 minute walk to the beach.
Fridge and food facilities available 🙂

Cons:

No breakfast included in the price and very basic food available.

La atención de la mujer que lo lleva.Vive en la casa de al lado y estuvo siempre pendiente de nosotros. Habitación básica pero cama grande y cómoda y todo muy limpio. Ducha con agua caliente que funcionaba bien (en otros muchos lugares no es así).

Cons:

La ubicación: está cerca de las playas de Blue Beach Island y de Hiriketiya PERO para llegar al alojamiento hay que subir y bajar varias cuestas. A nosotros no nos molestó mucho porque teníamos nuestro propio tuktuk, pero creo que hay que tenerlo en cuenta.
Por el precio, quizás podría incluir desayuno (al reservar ya nos especificaba bien que no estaba incluído, no es que haya sido una sorpresa).
