Fantastic location and peaceful garden
Pros:

What a place in Hiriketiya.... Awesome....
We had a wonderful stay at Emma's Sea View. The location is absolutely perfect just a short walk down to Hiriketiya Beach and the surf, yet tucked away at the quiet end of the bay so you can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.

The garden is beautiful and well-maintained, with lovely views over the bay. We spent most of our mornings there with breakfast, listening to the birds and watching the waves. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Owner Shan was a great host very welcoming and always happy to help with anything we needed. He even gave us some great local tips for food and surf spots.

Great value for money and an ideal spot if you’re looking to be close to the beach but still want a calm, relaxing place to return to. Would happily stay again!

Love this place...
We really enjoyed our time at Emma's Sea View. The property has a lovely tropical garden that is peaceful and well looked after, and you can see the ocean from the grounds which adds to the charm. It's only a few minutes' walk down to the main beach and surf spots, but far enough from the busy area to feel calm and quiet.

Our room was clean and comfortable, with good airflow and mosquito nets provided. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The host was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, giving us useful advice on local places to eat and surf conditions.

The WiFi worked well and the location made it easy to explore Hiriketiya without needing transport. Overall, great value for money and a nice base for a beach getaway. Would recommend for anyone looking for a simple, comfortable place close to the waves.

Some places you visit, and some places you feel. Emma's Sea View is definitely the latter. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the raw beauty and tranquility of this spot. The direct ocean views are simply breathtaking you can hear the waves crashing as you drift off to sleep.
What sets this place apart is the soul. It's not a cookie-cutter resort; it's a genuine experience. The room was impeccably clean, the bed wonderfully comfortable, and the staff treated me like family. The location is a surfer's dream and a sunset lover's paradise, all within a short stroll to the beach.
If you're looking for an authentic, peaceful escape with character and heart, stop searching. This is it. I left feeling completely recharged and already miss waking up to that view. Pure magic! Will definitely come back. Thanks to all...

Beautiful garden, ocean views, and pure tranquillity
Pros:

This place is just lovely! The beautiful green garden, where you can have breakfast and dinner, overlooks the surf spot in Hiriketiya. You can hear the sea from your room, and it's just a 2-minute walk down to the main beach area.
The rooms are spotless, the WiFi is good, and the location is perfect at the quiet end of the bay, close to Peter's Place restaurant, but away from the noisy parties. The owner Shan is absolutely amazing and truly cares about his guests. Waking up to the sound of birds in the garden was a highlight of my Sri Lanka trip! Highly recommend! Will come back next year with our family.... All the best...

Der Ausblick von den Liegen war nett

Cons:

Das Personal ist zwar freundlich, aber nicht arbeitsmotiviert. Unser Fenster war kaputt und unseren gesamten Aufenthalt über hat sich keiner darum gekümmert. Beim ersten Frühstück hatten wir weder Marmelade noch Butter, beim zweiten dann schon. Um das Essen zu bezahlen, mussten wir auch dreimal wiederkommen, weil keiner dafür zuständig war und dann meinte er, wir müssen noch das Zimmer bezahlen, was wir zu beginn schon gemacht haben. Im Zimmer ist es wärmer als draussen und der Ventilator bringt nichts. Auf den Fotos waren Stühle vor dem Zimmer zu sehen, aber es gab keine. Haben dann um welche gebeten, um wenigstens Sachen zu trocknen.

Nothing, when I arrived they told me they didn’t have room for me

Cons:

Apart from not having my room, they moved me to another hotel, different rooms, views, no hot water, and they asked me extra money because the room had AC. The treatment wasn’t good at all
