it was a bit more basic than i expected. some more comforts would be nice - an arm chair, a bedside lamp…
The host Norman is a gem was the highlight of our time in the cameron highlands
The only slight criticism i have is im fond of a late night shower and the shower at night can be rather chilly

From the moment we arrived, Norman was so lovely and welcoming - we felt right at home. The location is fantastic for exploring Tanah Rata (trails) and doing any Cameron highlands day tours. The facilities were always clean and well stocked, and the free breakfast each morning was greatly appreciated. Thanks for a fantastic stay, tips & advice Norman!
The best place to stay and one of the best we have stayed in during our travels.
It has everything you’d need and Norman is a great host.
When you get there he shows you around and tells you about walking routes near by.
Location is good. Worth for money.
And Norman is top notch in making sure that guests are comfortable by providing basic needs.
He also provides free breakfast and unlimited coffee and tea 👍
The host Norman is probably the nicest person we have met on our entire travels. He is so helpful and full of useful information for a trip in Cameron Highlands. He also loves travelling himself so you can have a great conversation with him about that.
The place is spotless, the rooms are nice while not being fancy, the location is perfect.

We loved staying at the Rustique! The location is perfect, close to town but tucked away. Norman, the owner, is one of the friendliest, kindest, and most helpful hosts we’ve encountered. The shared bathrooms were always spotless and available. The rooms are very basic, but good value for money, and we appreciated the coffee, tea, drinking water, and breakfast toast :)
Noise travels quickly between rooms and throughout the property but that can’t be helped!

Friendly host, good location. Free cold and hot water available.
Noisy, especially from other rooms, so obviously no privacy. No bed lamp. Toilet and showers are not in the same building, which is a major nuisance at night.

Everything! Norman is charming, incredibly kind, and very attentive. You can tell that his top priority is his guests’ well-being, as he takes care of every little detail. For example, breakfast is available every morning at 7:00 a.m. We 100% recommend staying here! The value for money is outstanding.
El dueño es un amor, pone a tu disposición hasta paraguas. Buena localización, hasta cerca de un bar, pero a las 12h paran la música y el dueño te da tapones si quieres. Desayuno simple pero muy correcto.
El lavabo esta fuera, lo que implica que si es de noche tienes que ponerte las chanclas para ir.
Norman est un super hôte , donne pleins de conseils . Les parties communes sont propres . La chambre est propre / simple pas de chichi . Tout est dit dans l’intitulé de l’hôtel “rustique” mais très sympa pour un séjour dans les Cameron à prix doux 🤗. Nous y étions 4 nuits .
Les cloisons sont très fines mais nous n’avons pas entendu le bar à côté.
Allez y c’est sympa et Norman adorable ( en prime vous avez un pti dej simple mais il a le mérite d’être offert )
Le matelas est un peu rustique 😅 mais ça passe.
Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Jest wszystko co potrzeba. Bardzo pmocny właściciel. Rano można coś zjeść na śniadanie. Czuliśmy się bardzo swobodnie.

Location was perfect, room was simple but exactly what we needed. Wifi worked well and shared bathrooms were always spotless. The best part is the host Norman who is so welcoming and friendly :) thank you for having us!
One small thing is the pillows are quite flat so not the most comfortable but it was okay for us.
