Peaceful location, but not far from the beach.

The best house you can find in Weligama is definitely here. It feels like you are at home. It is very well equipped. It even has a juicer, rice cooker, and washing machine. It is very clean and spacious and makes us feel comfortable. Mr. Sujee and his family are really kind and have been very kind to us. Also they give us two bicycles. We miss them a lot and if we return to Weligama, we will definitely choose this place again.

I had the most amazing stay at The Green Weligama. I stayed for 1 week and it was a truly wonderful experience. It has a small kitchen space so I enjoyed cooking and eating in the lovely outdoor area. The bed was so comfortable and it was really quiet so slept well every night. The location was great, away from the busy area but closebenough to access the shops and beach. The best part though was the welcoming and warm hosts, such lovely people. I felt so welcomed and at home. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Weligama!

The perfect place for digital nomad couples that need to work from home. Wifi and AC worked well. Very comfortable desk inside the room and table outside under a covered patio within the beautiful garden of the property. You’re surrounded by the sounds of nature instead of the noise of the main roads. Room is very clean and additional cleaning was provided mid-week. Inside the room there is everything you need, including a little kitchenette and a very modern washing machine. The hosting family is super friendly and kind. Highly recommend this place!

Our stay here was absolutely perfect! The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and plenty of furniture, including a wardrobe, dresser, and desk. The bathroom was large and had a washing machine. The kitchen had everything we needed.

The surrounding area was beautiful, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly kind and always available to help. We had some issues with the internet, but they did everything possible to fix it quickly. While it sometimes wasn’t strong enough for video calls, it always worked well for voice calls and watching videos.

We loved this place so much that we decided to extend our stay, canceling another booking.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a great atmosphere!

The location was great, we felt very safe and the hosts were nice and welcoming. The sheets were even washed once throughout our stay which was great and the washing machine was also very practical.

I had the most wonderful 17 nights at The Green, Sujee and his wife went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. For Christmas they put a lovely, decorated tree with lights outside my door and got me a new toaster when I mentioned I like to make toast for breakfast. The kitchen was very well equiped and the bed was so comfortable, I had the best sleeps as it is such a peaceful location. It's about a fifteen minute walk to the shops/supermarkets and the beach, a very pleasant stroll but there is always a tuk tuk passing by if you need one. I highly recommend staying with Sujee and his family as you will be very well taken care of and they even cooked me a lovely dinner one evening. I look forward to returning soon as I found a home from home.

Nice place, out from noisy road and railway, but still close to city center. Spacious and well-equipped apartment. Inverter ACs, ceiling fans, big fridge. Hot water is hot (heated by electricity, not by sun).
Internet is optical and quite fast.
Working areas for 2-3 people (small table in the bedroom and very big table in the dining room).
Good parking place inside thecterritory, for 2 cars.

the location was a bit on the side with an amazing garden that we got access to. the staff is amazing, cooked good food and helped us out with everything we neede, taxis, motorbikes, tuk tuk you name it they helped us. would 300% come back here.

Quiet place with nice green garden, near the town and beach, best to have a motorbike or you can walk/take tuk-tuk.
Room is spacious with fridge, A/C, sitting area, fully equipped. Bed and pillows were comfortable.
Owners were nice, help with everything 😊
