On a positive note, the caretaker was friendly and accommodating. We truly appreciated the assistance in arranging our van transportation to the airport—it made our departure much smoother. Despite some concerns, this kind of personal help goes a long way in making guests feel cared for. Thank you!

Cons:

We were very disappointed with the level of communication and service from the contact person for our stay in Siargao. Prior to our arrival, we reached out several times to make a simple request—not necessarily expecting it to be granted, but hoping at the very least for a reply. Unfortunately, we received no response at all.

Upon arriving at the property, there was no one at the reception to welcome us. We had to wait for nearly an hour before anyone assisted us, and again, there was no timely response from the contact person listed on the booking site. This caused unnecessary stress and delay, especially after a long journey.

We understand that circumstances may arise, but basic courtesy in communication and readiness to receive guests should be a standard. We hope this gets addressed so that future guests do not experience the same frustration.

As for the amenities, the WiFi did not reach our room, which was very inconvenient. The air conditioner was weak, and it seemed like the electric fan in the room was there to compensate for it. Also, a heads-up to future guests: the shower does not have hot or cold settings—it’s just a regular tap.
