We really love our stay at firefly by the river. From our first contact with the property manager Saveen who was super kind and helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. A pleasure to walk around in. We also had the chance to explore the river in a traditional boat, again, organised by Saveen. The room was also really nice, very comfortable, clean and spacious. We loved the outdoor seating area. Very quiet at night. Lastly, the breakfast and dinners that we had there were absolutely amazing, especially the pork. A big thank you to the chef there. All in all, my wife and I cannot recommend it enough.

Needs some amenities

I had an unbelievable stay here — a true escape into nature. Tucked away from the noise, it’s the kind of place where you instantly slow down: birds at sunrise, fresh air all day, and nights so quiet you can hear the wind in the trees. I came with friends, and every one of us left feeling lighter and genuinely refreshed.

The property is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the common spaces invite long conversations, and there are plenty of quiet corners to read, meditate, or just stare at the hills. The staff are warm, thoughtful, and quick to help without ever intruding — exactly the balance you hope for at a nature retreat.

What I loved most was the sense of calm: unhurried mornings with great chai, long walks, and stargazing after dark. No forced activities, no crowds — just space to breathe. I live in Bangalore now, and this will be my go-to getaway whenever I need to reset. It truly feels like a sacred place, and I’m already planning my return.

Great location, quiet and disconnected from the chaos of city life, but not too far from a town and necessities if required. The staff was courteous, the food was tasty and the surroundings were perfect for a peaceful getaway. There's a river flowing near the property which was a nice place to spend a peaceful morning.

Great location for those wanting to be close to nature. The river flows right behind the property. Lots of greenery. Staff was very humble and the room was quite clean. Loved the verandah outside the room where we can sit and watch the lush green surroundings. Especially worth mentioning ate the two dogs Leo and Ashi who made our trip memorable.

Nice facility, location is remote so please avoid reaching too late olin case if you don't have own vehicle. Overall wonderful experience. Facility caretaker Saveen really helped in arranging a smooth and nice stay.
