The family who are running this place are super nice people. They have laundry at the location - most of the days you can see them hard working.
The room is simple, the location is great. Definitely great value for money.

I had an excellent time at Joshoda home stay! The family was welcoming and I felt at ease as soon as I arrived. They were understanding when a few things arose unexpectedly. The area was a perfect location for my course and other activities. The room had all the necessities. Highly recommend 10/10.

The family are amazing hosts, the location is right in the middle of loads of facilities and ashrams for classes. Good local choice of amenities. The price is good, accommodated to enable remote working. A whisky partner lol, taken along to local weddings to enjoy festivities with the family x

The host family are lovely, kind, welcoming and kept us safe. They still provide electricity even when there are power cuts cause they have a generator. The internet is stable and always available, which is unusual in this area, also good 5G reception in this area. Always available to ask them for help or advice. There is a shared fridge and balcony which is useful.

Good stable internet, very accommodating for work needs. Super friendly made us feel part of the family. Having a small stove in the room is very handy for making hot drinks. Felt totally safe and secure ready to offer information, advice and help. Easy to get hold of at any time of the day or evening. Having a balcony area is nice too, along with a fridge to store milk and to keep water cold. Good location for cafes, shops and groceries. Lots of options of places to eat and the occasional traditional wedding. Taxis and tuk tuks go right to the door of the homestay.

Good vibes, I felt just like home: the very nice family running the home stay were always supportive and helpful. Great food. Will come back if I have another chance

Jashoda is a slice of heaven - a friendly, peaceful, very clean and spacious homestay with delicious homecooked meals (and original 5 grain chapatis) and a perennial homely atmosphere that permeates amongst the hustle.and bustle of fast developing Tapovan.

It is 5mins walk from the main road and surrounded by juice and coffee bars, local and foreign eateries and yoga ashrams in every direction only a couple minutes walk away. In-house laundry and gas stove in the rooms, with fan and A/C.

I will return when/if I am so lucky.

Great location

The room was simple but very clean. Great laundry service. Super friendly and helpful family. I would definitely go back in another period

Nice feeling

Hotel is good. Staff also good but you have to remind them for basic things like drinking water. No phone in the room, you have to contact directly. Mountain view is very limited as tall buildings have been made in front of the balcony. A gas stove is there for cooking. Electricity problem was there, AC does not work on alternate arrangements, Fan and light were working 24×7 on inverter. The secret waterfall is 3-4km from this location.
Overall good stay.

Very nice hospitality and rate was also reasonable and cheap
