Ruhige Lage und alles wichtige fußläufig erreichbar. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und hatten viele Tips für die weitere Reise in Sri Lanka. Es gab eine kleine Outdoor Küche und einen Kühlschrank den die Gäste benutzen konnten. Das Preis Leistung Verhältnis war zudem unschlagbar. Würde jederzeit wieder dort übernachten. Liebe Grüße Jan

Doğanın içinde ve huzurlu bir ev. Ev sahibi çok yardımcı oldu. Hem çevredeki olanakları ayrıntılı şekilde anlattı hem de her fırsatta yardımcı olmaya çalıştı. Hem fiyat olarak bu kadar uygun olup hem de huzurlu bir ev olması beni mutlu etti.

Nicht weit von der Stadt entfernt und in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Das Zimmer ist super und sehr gemütlich. Alles ist ziemlich sauber und auch die Küche mit dem Balkon sind top. Das Beste ist die Besitzerin. Super liebe Frau. Komme gerne wieder☺️

When you arrive it feels like you visit your parents House after a long time. The woman welcomes you with a big hug and you directly feel home. The room is very clean. It’s located in a quiet place 5-10 mins from the beach. You can see a lot of monkeys around. You also have a kitchen to share. Thank you 🙏🏽

It is difficult to describe the warm smile, generousness and loveliness of the couple who run this place.
From the first second you feel at home and happy however tired you feel from the journey.
Needless to say that the room was very clean and the bed more comfortable than my own one. It is located in a quiet area and has a well kept garden and communal kitchen.
Many guests stay long-term here,so be happy if there is a free room you can book.

We stayed at this guesthouse in Weligama for 4 nights and had a great experience. The accommodation is in a private house, with a room featuring a separate bathroom. The room is simple but perfectly adequate for the very low price. Don’t expect luxury, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The kitchen, available for guests to use, was a big plus, especially for preparing your own meals. The owner, Nadhe, was incredibly kind and helpful: she offered us tea and fresh juice several times and gave us valuable advice on activities and places to visit nearby.

We also used the paid laundry service, which was convenient and well-managed. Nadhe’s warm hospitality and attention to her guests make this guesthouse a great choice for anyone looking for affordable and authentic accommodation in Weligama.

Highly recommended for budget travelers seeking a simple but pleasant experience.

Good location, away from busy centre but close enough to it. Very kind hosts, always ready to help. Convenient open space (under roof) cooking area. Nice spot for watching birds and monkeys.

This place is simply amazing! The owners are the best hosts you could ever ask for – they go above and beyond to make you feel at home. From the moment you arrive, it feels like you’re staying with family. Highly recommend!

Very kaindly staff. She arranged us perfect surf teacher. We can use kitchen and nice balkon, whitch was really comfortable.We got a tasty welcome drink and one breakfast.

The loveliest thing about Sun Hill Home is the family who run the place. They are very friendly and welcoming, the hosts make you feel at home!

Absolutely everything was exquisite. When you need something the host family is always ready to help. In our 3 months trip, we didn’t find anything that’s at least a little bit similar to Sun Hill with it’s perfect value of money and hospitality, I can’t recommend more!
Also the dogs that are living on the street in front of the house are the cutest little dog family.

If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Weligama look no further! We have been travelling for four months now and truly we have not had better hosts than Nadee and her lovely family. Nadee could not do enough for us, always full of recommendations for places to go/things to see and would make us smoothies and coffees as well as snacks whenever she could! The accommodation itself is brilliant, it's spacious, clean and has a kitchen with everything you need that leads out to a big balcony for hanging out in the evening.
The location is great, about a 3 minute scooter ride to the town/beach. Our favourite part was the nature around too, we loved waking up and hearing peacocks, birds and in the mornings you can see different kinds of monkeys in the trees beside the house! We loveedddd staying here and would go back in a heartbeat ❤️

I had a wonderful stay with Nadee and her lovely family. I was warmly welcomed and they took really good care of me. The house is within walking distance to the city center and the view of the garden from the bed is great. I was lucky to be able to extend my stay and would return anytime. This location is serene and picturesque. I stayed in a first-floor room that was clean, well-lit, and spacious. The first-floor rooms come with fully equipped kitchens, complete with a refrigerator and washing machine. The living room serves as a versatile space for dining and remote work, making it ideal for an extended stay. The owners are exceptionally kind and responsive, always ready to assist with any requirements. I highly recommend Sunhill for its excellent value for money.

The place is calm and Nice. The territory is clean, and you can Breathe fresh air with sun rays in the morning. I have stayed Budget room and from the room window you can see beautiful and relax garden.
Nadee is very kind and accommodating, made sure we had everything we needed. We used unlimited WIFI facility free of charge. Thanks for that. One day we received some traditional Sri Lankan food to try. It is free of charge and very delicious. Room Price was very reasonable, and Location is 10-minute walk away from weligama Center.
I am highly recommending this place.
