Pros:

This is an old house, with lovely quirky fixtures in keeping with the building. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked and beautifully decorated by the lovely lady. Location is good, grabs are cheap. The bed is beautiful, with mosquito nets all round, mattress firm. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs because there isn't much keeping the sound out of the room but the positive is you can hear the birds, which was nice. Lots of outdoor seating and a little communal room with TV and fridge.

The Baan Sithepaban Guesthouse is a gem. It's a beautiful, well kept house with warm, welcoming hosts. The rooms and clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious and beautifully presented.

Familiaal koloniaal oud Thais
Pros:

Ongelooflijk mooi traditioneel Thais huis. Niets moderns maar juist een heerlijke ouderwetse sfeer. Als je hier verblijft krijg je een intiem gevoel van koloniale tijd. Niets sjieks maar gewoon super gastvrij en relaxed. Ga voor deze persoonlijke ervaring en geniet van een ultieme boutique stijl huis/hotel.

Cons:

Helaas geen echte koffie bij het ontbijt. Jammer maar als je na het ontbijt 150 m links het huis uitwandeld zie je aan de overkant van de straat een van de allermooiste koffie-cafés van Thailand called Churn Café. Go there!

เวลาเดินบนพื้นไม้ต้องระวังเดินลงส้นเท้าไม่ได้ เพราะจะเสียงดังมาก รบกวนห้องอื่น ที่นอนสปริง ส่วนตัวชอบที่นอนแน่นกว่านี้ค่ะ ความสว่างของแสงไฟน้อยไปหน่อย โดยเฉพาะหน้ากระจกในห้องน้ำ แอร์ในห้องน้ำหยดค่ะ

Hôte très gentille et accueillante ! Elle nous a préparé de délicieux petits déjeuners, toujours aux petits soins et à l'écoute. Un rayon de soleil 🌞
Le logement est idéalement situé à 20 minutes à pied de la gâté et il y a un petit marché de nuit tous les soirs à 5 minutes (à côté du 7 Eleven).

Cons:

Peut-être au niveau de l'isolation acoustique au sein de la maison même, mais sans doute est-ce normal puisque c'est une maison traditionnelle en bois.

The guesthouse is a beautiful old wooden thai house. It is full of traditional furnishings. A very charming place. Also, my friend left an item of clothing there, and they posted it back to us and refused to let us pay for the postage charges.

A wonderful traditional Thai experience like no other.
Pros:

This guesthouse is suitable for someone wanting to experience living in a 200+ year traditional Thai mansion, built entirely of teak timber. It’s a beautiful building very close to a very large and famous Buddhist Temple, with a reputation for healing the sick.
Most of the rooms are upstairs, which of course are accessed via steep staircases, and may be challenging for elderly or disabled guests. The bedrooms were comfortable and peaceful.
The free breakfast was perfect, and the bathroom was very clean. Staff were lovely and kind.
