Ein sehr schöner Kurzurlaub würden die Unterkunft wieder bevorzugen.Ruhig und erholsam
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage zum Radweg.Fähre in 5 Minuten zu erreichen .Hervorzuheben die gute Küche,Auch das Frühstücke lässt nicht zu wünschen übrig .Freundliches Personal.Alles in allem eine gute Wahl,Gerne wieder

Für empfindliche Menschen etwas Fußkalt.Wenn man aber die Geschichte betrachtet ganz normal -bei der Lage in Elbnähe und Überschwemmungsgefahr wäre alles andere als Fliesen sinnlos.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, beim Frühstück wurden wir teilweise enttäuscht.
Pros:

Gefallen hat uns die tolle Lage mit Blick auf die Elbe. Durch die Schallschutzwände hat man auch kaum gehört daß hinter dem Kapitänshaus eine stark befahrene Bahnstrecke entlang führte. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse oder dem Frühstücksraum ist einmalig.

Cons:

Die ersten 4 Tage ( 3.8.-6.8. ) waren wir mit dem Frühstücksangebot und dem aufmerksamen Personal sehr zufrieden. Die nächsten 2 Tage war es enttäuschend. Es gab keine Kaffeesahne ( auch auf Nachfrage nicht ) , des weiteren mußte erst nachgefragt werden ob man noch Butter bekommen kann da nur noch ein Stück auf dem Teller lag und um 9 Uhr waren nur noch 2 Vollkornbrötchen vorhanden obwohl Frühstück bis 9.30 Uhr. Es mußte erst wieder darauf hingewiesen werden daß nur noch 2 Brötchen vorhanden waren. Die leere Schüssel vom Eiersalat stand während unseres ganzen Frühstücks auf dem Buffet ohne nachgefüllt oder ausgetauscht worden zu sein. Das Tschechische Personal war um Klassen besser und umsichtiger. Leider bleiben die negativen Erfahrungen länger im Gedächtnis.

insgesamt ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt
Pros:

Der Frühstücksraum = Wintergarten mit einem freiem Blick zur Elbe und gegenüberliegenden Talseite lädt sehr zum Verweilen und Abschalten ein. Das Frühstücksbuffet war abwechselnd und stets lecker. Das Frühstücksfenster bis 10 Uhr ermöglichte einen entsprannten Start in den Tag.
Unser Hund konnten wir unkompliziert mitbringen
Die Gästekarte , die Bus + Bahn + Fähre gratis inbegriff, ist goldwert

Cons:

Das Finden des Gasthauses ist nicht so einfach, da ,,Verbot einer Einfahrt-Schilder" irriteren

Exceptional
Pros:

It was a great stay at Kapitänshaus.
The owner and the hotel were really supportive when we were doing the check-in and did everything they could for us to feel really welcome.
The room is big, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast with the view is amazing.

Totally recommend staying at the place.

finally time to visit area a do some great walks/hikes with exceptional scenery. I would stay here again
Pros:

nicely renovated location, the evening meals were a real treat. breakfast was of the basic type. but plentiful and hearty.

Cons:

the mattress was too soft for me.
