Pros:

Great place in Raja Ampat pretty close to Waisai.
Great place to stay for birdwatching and go to blue river that the both enjoyed very much!

Avant tout la nature (4 observations de dugongs, vie marine multiforme, oiseaux à quelques mètres). Mais aussi l'organisation des transferts, la qualité des repas, la gentillesse de l'accueil, les excursions oiseaux de paradis, les promenades côtières ou vers l'intérieur.

Close to Nature
Pros:

Closeness to nature, which is still unspoiled. Lots of birds, fishes and ofcourse the marine life that is easy accessible from PapuArts Alter Native Stay.

Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾
Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them.
Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have).

The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes)

The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room).
Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review).

You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you.
No frills, just natural materials, which we loved.
Also no warm water, but easily to get used to.
There’s a shower and mandi style shower.
Also your own toilet.
Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling.

There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end.
Fitness with a view!

It’s quiet and feels very private.
You instantly feel relaxed here.

Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! Don’t compare it to any other parts of Indonesia (certainly not...
