A perfect stop over for one person.
Well designed compact apartment. A microwave would possibly be helpful. Access to a lovely garden.

Le logement était super propre et l’hôte très accueillant. L’arrivée était très simple et 100% autonome. Il y avait beaucoup de place pour se garer.
Le logement est très cher pour ce que c’est, ne correspond pas au standing des autres logements à proximité. Le wifi est très mauvais, il n’y a pas de répéteur wifi donc le wifi doit être très bien dans sa maison mais est terrible dans le logement. Il n’y a pas de micro-ondes ce qui laisse les repas assez limités. Je n’ai pas eu de chaude, seulement de l’eau tiède voir froide. Le logement est très petit.
The room was wonderful for my needs- exceptionally clean with a comfortable bed. The additional fridge was a bonus for my packed lunch. I was working at Arrowe Park Hospital & so being just the other side of the park the next morning meant for a very short commute.

A great room for one person. Spotless shower room. Nice that it has a fridge. Easy check in. I would definitely book again.

No Breakfast but coffee and biscuits in the room. Having fast wifi and Sky Sports was very welcome as I arrived on a Sunday afternoon with a couple of hours to spare before my meeting. Had a chat with Julian the proprietor who was very welcoming.
I found the side door a bit difficult to lock.

It was clean, self contained and comfortable. There was a tv, kettle, tea and coffee plus water and cookies. Access to the WiFi and parking right outside the door.

The duvet is too light for the winter and it was very difficult to sleep as a result. Tried everything to get hot water but to no avail.

It is situated at very convenient place. Private parking and my vehicle was next to my window. The owner was very polite. Room was very quite and ran 100% privacy. I would like to stay there again.
It was all brilliant.
A very warm and friendly greeting by the owner, Julian. Unfortunately I didn't see much of the area due to work commitments. I arrived late in the dark and left early in the morning for work.
However, Woodside Lodge is small, compact, clean, and comfortable. Definitely only suitable for Solo travel, due to the small room.
I would certainly stay at Woodside Lodge again, if ever working in the area in the future.

Really nice place, as per previous reviews. As a rule I don't tend to stay in Air B&B-type accommodation and usually only hotels. However made an exception with this because of the separate entrance and good reviews and glad I did. Owner is clearly not just trying to make a fast cheap buck, but has instead put thought and effort into providing a quality stay
A decaf coffee option would have been nice
