I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel, location and transport issues being the only drawbacks
Pros:

I was very happy with the hotel overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was comfortable and well maintained.

Cons:

The location and surrounding neighbourhood felt a bit unsafe, so I was not comfortable going for my usual morning runs. Unfortunately, the hotel’s transport also broke down, which meant they were unable to pick me up as arranged.

**Disappointing stay despite friendly staff**

The staff at Lilian Lofts were all very friendly, welcoming and willing to assist, which was definitely a positive. Unfortunately, there were quite a few issues with our stay that I feel future guests should be aware of.

Firstly, if you are not familiar with the area, I feel that the photos advertised online can be misleading. The outside and surrounding area do not look like they do in the photos and have much more of a CBD/urban feel. This was not what we expected when booking.

We also booked a **loft that was advertised as having two double beds**, but when we arrived, the room actually had **one double bed and two single beds**. This was disappointing as the accommodation we received did not match what was shown when we made the booking.

The cleanliness was another major concern. **The accommodation was not clean at all**, and the hallways also had an unpleasant/funny smell. This really affected our first impression and overall experience.

The biggest issue, however, was the parking. The property is advertised as having **secure parking**, which was important to us. We came earlier specifically to check in and arrange our parking spot. We were then informed that there was limited parking and that it worked on a first-come, first-served basis. We made arrangements for our parking before leaving.

When we returned later, however, all the parking spaces had been taken. We were told that the staff member from the previous shift had not communicated the parking arrangements to the new staff member on duty. As a result, our vehicle had to remain outside overnight. Considering the area, this did not feel safe or secure, especially when secure parking had been advertised.

Nice Stay
Pros:

It was my 2nd visit and I love everything about the hotel, staff friendly and respond immediately to if there is something that you need. I will definitely book again.

Cons:

My bathroom carpets were dirty, that was the only thing that was not clean in the room. After reporting they were taken out and replaced by clean one.
